Thanks a lot Mora.  You deserve to ride the bench. Speaking of riding the bench, why are Huff and Scott not starting?  I dont care how hot Payton is, he cost us the game today and Scott is our starter.  Huff should start in place of Mora and Scott in place of Payton.  In fact, thanks a lot Mora AND Payton, you both cost us the game.  Sorry guys, but if we lose tomorrow, we're facing an improbable sweep.  We dont win on Sundays (just in case no one here knew).  I'm ticked.

Just wanted to mention that the 'Rally Killer' hit into his 11th DP of the season.

How many did he have last year you ask? 22.

And Yes I understand that Payton hits LH pitching well. But once Perez went out of the game so should have Payton. Also Mora is not hitting, Huff is hitting. What is this? Opposite day!?!?!?! Mora better sit the next 2 games.

Tomorrow's line up better look like this:

2B Roberts
CF Jones
RF Markakis
3B Huff
1B Millar
LF Scott
C Hernandez
SS whoever!

Cintron better start tomorrow, because Fahey lucked out on that hit.  Plus, he didnt even hustle out of the box.  Fahey's at-bats are just like Bynum's, swing and just happen to tap it just far enough for a hit.

can someone please explain what todays move to bring Fahey back up was about?? He hasnt been able to hit or even field at this level. Why? why do we bring him up and even play him for that matter when we have players that can hit and play?

If someone can explain why Huff was not in the starting lineup...? It doesnt matter who was pitching today if a guy tears the cover off the ball like he did yesterday than why sit him? I even wouldnt have minded seeing Quioz out there for the good at bats he got in Thursday...play hitters while there hot...

This was a team loss.

* Cabrera mostly did well I thought, but 4 runs against one of the 5 worst teams in MLB is still 4 runs.  His WHIP was about 2 through 6 1/3.

* Jones went 3 for 3, but IMO, cost us the key run of the game in the first with not a 1, but 2 base error.  Bad baseball there.

* Millar went a big fat 0 for 4 and stranded 4.

* I am usually a Melvin apologist, but wow ... was that horrendous in the 9th.  Tailor damm made DP.  Might as well bunt in that situation ... I mean, it is the NL.

* Fahey CAN'T get thrown out at 2nd like he did after driving in the 2nd run.  If he plays the inning right, coupled with Jones playing the single in the 1st, maybe we go up 3-1 at that point of the game.

* Finally, Payton has been tearing it up, and a lefty was going last night.  Why not go with the hot bat?  If the argument applies to Huff ... and I think it does ... it applies to Payton.  Still, the 0 for 4 and the misplay in the 7th were bad.

* As a team we left 11 on base.

If you're upset with one in this game, then you've got to pick on everybody.  We stunk up the capital last night.  I hope we bounce back and win the next 2.  C'mon O's.

I blame two of Cabrera's runs on the outfield.  I  blame the rest of the game on the offense in general.  It sucked if you ask me because Cabrera pitched very well but was let down by his defense and the bats.

Ya absolutely right guys that was a team loss. I really hope trembley really layed into the after that game cause they played like crap. Cabrera pitched pretty well and did save our bullpen though probably the only bright spot of the night besides the 2 implosions. Props to the gnats they wanted it more we just gotta come out and win tonight and hopefully break the curse tommorow
