Although I'm not a big Kevin Love fan, I really am not a big OJ Mayo fan. I liked Mike Miller and overall do not like the draft day trade. It is good that we dumped Brian Cardinal and Jason Collins though. Someone mentioned that the Heat like Mayo and are not sold on Michael Beasley and may want to do a trade involving Mayo for Beasley. I love that idea as long as we keep Rudy Gay. Anyway, I think our 2008-09 lineup should look like this:
This lineup looks average at best. We'll still be in the toughest division in the NBA and will likely have trouble winning more than 30 games. Anything's possible however. Go Grizzlies!
Antione Walker is a small forward, so he will be Rudy Gay's backup with Darrell Arthur either starting at the four or playing backup to Hakim Warrick. Heaven forbid we sign Kwame Brown again, and remember we have Marc Gasol now. In whole, I like this trade because it gives us more cap room and we get another future all-star in Mayo.
the team will be mediocre at best.trading love for ANOTHER guard is just stupid gm'ing by walllace.plus people see Antoine Walker and start getting excited. hey dumbasses walker was outta his prime 5 years ago he didint do anything with the Heat but be a backup on a championship team when dwade and shaq won that.this will be the lineup:
With the exception of Walker and the rest of the bench, I see plenty of young talented players at all five positions. Whether the realize their potential, only time will tell!
