	I'd say hitting .400 since a great hitter usually fails 7 out of 10 at bats. Only failing 6 out of 10 at bats is unreal!

	I don't think its quite that black and white... If Ichiro were to get it, for example, that would be impressive but the fact that he prolly only got 60 RBIs negates it a little bit......If Chipper does it, its hands down flat out amazing, because he'll get .400 ~35 HR and ~110 RBI. Either feat is crazy but i'm going to have to bank on Triple Crown because I feel like every other year the guy who hits the most HRs doesn't even bat .300 so people like A-Rod or Pujols or Manny amaze me at how every year in August they are threats for Triple crown

	I'd definitely say that batting .400+ is more impressive. Both are amazing feats, but .400 is something that at least I hold in the highest regard (just barely after a non-roid home run record).

	Both are terrific feats and I don't expect either again in my lifetime. I think the Triple Crown is the greater feat but i also think that batting .400 is more unlikely. I'm all for Chipper this year but a more realistic question is "can he hit .350".

	How about both?? Roger Hornsby did it in 1925. Thanks for the history Nrdy. I don't think you will see someone hitting .400 ever win the triple crown again. Batting for average and hitting the 50 or more homeruns required to have a chance at the triple crown is virtually impossible. For the most part, the big homerun hitters strike out a lot and can't maintain a high average, let alone .400. I have to say batting .400 is probably the more difficult, but they are both tremendous feats.
