	It's not that bad of a trade. Michael Beasley was the guy I really wanted anyway. O.J. Mayo is basically just a jump shooter. He doesn't drive the ball much and get to the free throw line. That's probably because he doesn't have a great first step. Mike Miller may not be a big name, but he's a top 5 shooter in the game. Kevin Love will be a good player. He can post up, has range out to the three point line, and has very good passing skills. He lost 15 pounds since the end his team got eliminated from the tournament. So that will help his quickness and endurance. Love also tested very good at the combine. Here are both Love and Beasley's results. 3/4 court sprint Love: 3.22 sec Beasley: 3.24 sec Max vert Love: 35.0" Beasley: 35.0' Lane agility Love: 11.17 sec (faster than Bayless and Augustin) Beasley: 11.04 sec Bench press (185 pounds) Love: 18 Beasley: 19 Those are numbers are surprising. He didn't look that athletic in the NCAA. It must be because he lost all that weight. Hopefully it will make a difference on the court next year. I'm just glad that we got something extra for Love instead of just taking him with the 3rd pick. I saw some of his interviews before the draft and it seemed like he would really like to come to Minnesota. Watch Mayo leave Memphis when his rookie contract ends.

	I dont mind the trade either i just think Love doesnt fit well with Big Al. Mike Miller is a decent shooter but thats it. Mayo was going to be a problem for us anyways. I still think it wouldnt have been very difficult to get Beasley for Mayo. Give them back there first round pick next year or the 2 second round picks this year (which we wasted anyways) They just for some reason didnt want Beasley because they are dumb. I personally think this may turn out to be the worst draft in T-wolve history and thats saying alot.

	Mike Miller is more than just a shooter. Last year he averaged 6.7 reb and 3.4 ast to go along with 16.4 ppg. Those are solid all around numbers. Will this trade have any effect on who we resign? Our free agents are Ryan Gomes, Sebastian Telfair, Craig Smith, Kirk Snyder, and Chris Richard. Gomes and Telfair played well enough to earn them a nice payday. Will they be worth bringing back?

	Good post, but the trade still pisses me off. I like Love as a player and as a person, but he just doesn't fit at all with this team. I don't see how any expert can suggest that. By moving Big Al to the 5, this has become the worst defensive team in the league, bar none. And this team was bad defensively last year too. I liked getting a guard who could play defense (Mayo) much more than a skilled 4 who doesn't move laterally well enough to be a good defender. Especially considering the 4 spot on this team was the one position not requiring an upgrade. Should have been Mayo, Jordan, Walker. Now that would have been a team worth watching next year. I think Mike Miller is being underrated by MN fans. He's the piece of this trade I get excited about. As stated above, he has an all-around game, and does get to the basket. Unfortunately, he's also a defensive liability, an all too common characteristic on this team.

	And also, thanks for the combine information, its very very interesting. I may be judging Love's athleticism and defensive ability too harshly. I still feel he doesn't fit on this team (due to Big Al's presence), and that the trade was a mistake, but it may not be a "franchise killer" either.

	I've also come to terms with the Mayo deal a little more. The deal that still has me furious is the Chalmers trade to Miami. This was a guy projected to go in the mid first round and you sell him for cash?!? McHale still needs to go.
