Guillen doesnt give a "sh--" about us

Jose Guillen was at it again only this time the target of his inflammatory remarks were us fans.   He repeatedly mentioned that he doesn't care about the fans in reference to getting booed for not running out ground balls.   

I have been cautiously optimistic with Guillen and his comments as I have felt a new attitude is needed here but calling out teammates for not playing the game right and then dogging it to first and because fans boo he lashes out at them is a little much for me.   He claimed that both his hips are "messed up" and he can't give any more but when asked by Dick Kagel how it is he can run hard once on the base paths he simply responded with a mhmm. 

I'm interested in what everyone else's thought are and at what point do we reach 'enough is enough', if ever at all. 

I'm not going to answer this in a narrative fashion.  I'm just going to mention one unusual stat about Guillen

12 major league seasons =  9 different major league teams.

For a guy who has one of the best cannons in baseball and is a formidable power hitter, wouldn't you think that some team would have kept him a little longer?   My guess....he wears out his welcome. 

Goo - shut it.  Half the time you don't know what you are saying, the other you are mispelling words and speaking in kindergarten sentences.  Shoeshine has a right to speak and usually does eloquently. 

I would have to agree with Topher on this one.  What do we care if Guillen calls us out.  I think he has the right a little bit, don't you?  We (not me included because I never slammed the dude for his slow start) blasted him and the Royals for spending 12 mill a year on someone who bats .188 and has 3 HRs.  He then turns around and starts producing and everyone starts cheering for him like they never blasted him to begin with.  He's a little touchy of a person, and that's fine.  His play is helping our team win, and when was the last time we had a little fire in our bellies? 

Lastly, the Royals are finally becoming a complete team - offense, defense and pitching.  Let's ride this Blue Wave and stop being the pessimistic fans we always are.
