According to sportsline here they are:

Lopez-Kaman
Anderson-Jack Sikma
CDR-Hamilton

I may agree with the Lopez but I can't see the other two.  I was young with Sikma but did he shoot as well as Anderson from deep?  Someone who's old enough let me know.  Sikma was a bad player I just don't see Anderson in him.  Then CDR and Hamilton I just don't see that either.  CDR is a get to the rim type guy were Hamilton works off screens for his J.  Once I come up with my own comparisons I'll post again.  I'll try and thing of guys.  If anyone else has one let me know.

I see Brook Lopez being more like a Zach Randolph type player without the off the court baggage. 20 points and 10-15 rebounds a game.

Ryan Anderson to me and I've heard this elsewhere is more of a Chris Mullen type player, excellent outside in player. in otherword he can hit the outside shot very well so when the defender comes out to get him he can put it on the floor get around the defender and hit his mid range or short jumper. Very efficient.

Chris Douglas - Roberts is a tall SG that is just a bit unorthidox in the way he does things according to Calipari, but he just delivers results and is a great team player that can be counted on in the clutch. I don't know who you would compare him to, maybe a taller Joe Dumars (DET), Maurie Cheeks(PHIL), or Andrew Toney(PHIL)

Sup Bigtime!!! I agree on Anderson not being Sikma(I wish he was). "Vanilla afro" aka Sikma, was a true power foward, 7-time all-star and averaged almost 10 rebounds and 16 points a game for his career. Didn't really have an outside shot until late, late into his career. I think Anderson (which I admit haven't really seen much of but just been listening to others talk about him) is more of a tweener sf/pf and plays more like maybe a Toni Kukoc, Troy Murphy or even better - Austin Croshere. One last thing about Anderson, someone (I forgot where I read it) said that he plays old-school like Dave DeBusschere!!! Hope he's right.

lopez i think is a poor mans Tim Duncan,in between kaman and duncan offensively , but no where near defensively ... can be solid and reliable upgrade over kristic.   anderson i agree is in the kukoc / murphy mold wit more attitude.... and cdr is more of a Larry Hughes but will play defense the way hughes used to play when he was washinton ,  which was very good. think the Nets had a great draft...

Holy crap Vanilla Afro.  It took me 30 minutes to post after reading this Gambi.  I'm still cracking up.  I'll tell you this about the Anderson kid.  I used to watch late night Pac-10 and remember watching this kid play and dominating the offensive end.  He was so quiet I never even thought about him on draft day.  I even forget how great he was until I saw the highlights on draft night.  I was like holy cow this was the kid I used to watch late night I thought he was freshman though.

His offensive game is tremendous.  I really can't think of a guy who he plays like.  Kukoc isn't the guy only because I don't think Kukoc could post up.  I really want to say my favorite Nets of all time.  Keith Van Horn might be the guy.  Although I think Anderson shoots better from long range.  Gambi I've seen this kid take it to the rack, shoot the rock and even post up with the baby hook.  I'm telling you watch the summer league you'll fall in love with his game.

Yeah, most people remember Sikma in the 80's when he had a crew-cut but in the 70's he had  big afro-like curly blonde hair. I'll admit I never really seen Ryan Anderson play but if you tell me he's a Keith Van Horn with a better outside shot I'll be ecstatic especially since we got him with the 21st pick. Bigtime, this was a great draft by the Nets and I can't wait to see these guys in action!!!
