I will watch Silva's debut at 205 just because it is free on Spike...As far who has the better card I would have to say Affliction has the better line up that night...The fight night only has two fights that interest me and that is Silva vs. Irvin and Vera vs. Reese...I don't think that Dana put a strong card together to counter what Affliction is putting on with there stacked card even though most of the fights are HW....

I would say the Silva fight because I do not hace access to Pay-Per-View, but I am intrigued with the debut of Affliction and would love to see Fedor fight.  Will this fight be available to watch somewhere online?

If you are truely an MMA fan...You will support Affliction. Not necessaraly the promoters, product, their horribly trendy tshirts,  or anything else...just the fact that it will provide competition to the UFC. They are paying the fighters, letting them choose their opponets on a non exlusive basis... Competition is good.

I mean seriously, Silva vs. Irvin? thats more interesting than the fight everyone has been dreaming about the past 5 years.... Fedor vs. Sylvia? not to mention all the other starts on that card. You are going to support Dana White, who scheduled his event just to position himself to keep is monopoly for american mma?

OK, so, I will TiVo the spike event....but, I'm pumped for this Affliction card.

I agree with CornBhick, if there is anyway for you to watch the Affliction card either via computer like CBS Mafia or just buying the darn thing, it's worth the money plus you can always record the spike show and watch that later on. excellent weekend for fights

While the Affliction Card is good theres only one fight i want to see on it. Why do i want to see a former UFC guy who got beat by mutiple guys in UFC. Babalou vs Whitehead is a joke. Whitehead couldn't even make it into the semi's of the Ultimate Fighter 2. Sure i want to see Fedor and Sylvia because i've never seen Fedor face anyone worth a shit. I'd rather support UFC though I don't understand this competition thing everyone makes a big argument for. If thats the case how come you guys don't watch Arena football or canadian football, maybe some other basketball instead of the NBA. Plenty of these guys are ex UFC fighters who if they hadn't lost would still be in the UFC.

Trav...

So a card featuring a bunch of unprepared former IFL'ers , Franca off his steriod suspension, Jake O'boring, and a few other guys training on a month notice ... headlined by the MW champ fighting 20lbs over his ideal weight...is better than the Affliction card?
