Colts fans, if you really had to think, what do you guys think New England is better at, offense or defense or in other words, when the Colts play the Pats, which side of the Patriots make you more nerves?

Offense Pos.- The Pats have Randy Moss, Tom Brady, a powerful O-line to stop the pressure giving Brady time to throw, Laurence Maroney is good, Stephen Gostkowski is a great kicker

Offense Negs- Wes Welker is overrated, lost Donté Stallworth and most likely Chad Jackson won't be has a good reciever has Stallworth was.

Defense Pos.- Best rated Defense in 07, Tedy Bruschi, Adalius Thomas is great.

Defense Negs- Lost Asante Samuel, Junior Seau might not return, Mike Vrabel is overated, defense is old

The Pats "O" is the heart and soul of the team. The "D" got it's inflated ranking because of the division the Pats had to play in last year. It's not their fault, but their division was the weakest in the NFL last year.

When Ty Law was on the Patriots it was the defense, but now I guess it would have to be the offense.

lost Donté Stallworth and most likely Chad Jackson won't be has a good reciever has Stallworth was. Dude stallworth sucked he caught like 35 passes and 3 touchdowns. gaffney replaced him down the strentch stallworth does not hurt at all the Patriots had an option on his contract and decided he sucked and wasen't worth 6mil....lol how is Mike Vrabel overated? o nvm your a Dolphins fan...i wish Ty Law would come back...

Yea but they played Cleveland, Dallas, Pittsburgh, Indianapolis, Washington, New York Giants, and Cinncinnati all top offences...and the pats d was no the best in the nfl last year. they were top 5 at best. their secondary got owned over the middle.

New England will be a SB contender again, there's no doubt.  However, that defensive backfield will be a huge Achilles heel.  NE has a lot of possibilities for #2 CB, but absolutely no one who can cover another team's #1 receiver one-on-one.  What are they going to do when they play teams like the Colts who have three #1 receivers?  Combine that with a pretty pedestrian safety corps and the D is looking way more vulnerable than it's been in years.  On the bright side, I think that Adalius could start make a second-year jump in the Pats' system, and Hobson should be an instant improvement inside.  Whether that will make up for any physical depreciation on Vrable and Bruschi remains to be seen.
