First of all this is a preety good job by prisco on the List. I dont mind Matt Leinart being on that list but if hes on a year bound to become great then you have to put at least Jay cutler and/or VInce Young because overall Jay Cutler is a better passer so far and Young proves he can win games and should beceom a much better passer.

And who wouldve thought Stacey Andrews as the guy to be first!!!

It's hard to take Leinart seriously after his party with the sororitutes and his "Ride or Die with me" comments.

Being a Seahawk fan this doesnt surprise me at all

2nd year in a row he has picked leinart for a breakout year
and at  least in the last 2 years he has picked the cardinals as the breakout team to win the division.   He honestly loves this team so i wouldnt be surprised if he picks them to win this year.    In my opinion the o-line sucks and james is a year older so prisco wake up and get over your love for them honestly

labroncos1892: "but if hes on a year bound to become great then you have to put at least Jay cutler and/or VInce Young"

Pete thinks that both of those guys have already proven that they are superstars.

i don't think Pete thinks that they are both superstars already, i think he thinks that they won't become superstars. Young won't become a superstar untill Tennessee puts in a spread offense and i'm just not sure about Cutler at all.

Not sure about Cutler? Seriously Eightzero? Well, here are a handful of reasons why tons of people ARE SURE about Cutler, and why I would take him over your Pillsbury Doughboy QB, JaMarcus "can i have mo pie" Russell.   1. Cutler became the first rookie QB in NFL history to throw for at least two touchdowns in each of his first four games played. 2. He also became just the second rookie in league history (fifth player overall) to throw at least two touchdown passes in each of his first four starts. The only other rookie to accomplish the feat was Dan Marino in his 1983 rookie season. 3. He also posted the second-highest TD percentage (6.6) and third-highest TD-to-INT ratio (1.8) among NFL rookies since 1970 with at least 125 passing attempts.   4. In Cutler’s FIRST complete season, he completed 297-of-467 passes (63.6%) for 3,497 yards, 20 touchdowns and 14 interceptions. He was the NFL’s 12th-ranked passer (88.1) and also had the tenth-most passing yards (3,497). Furthermore, Cutler was the league’s ninth-best third-down passer, with a 92.1 passer rating (73-of-125 for 901 yards, 8 TD and 3 INT). His 3,497 passing yards ranked as the seventh-best single-season performance in team history. He also had the third-best single-season completion percentage (63.6) in team history. Not bad at all… and awesome when you consider it was his FIRST DAMN SEASON. Cutler will be a superstar. If pot bellied JaMarcus can string together a season half this good in '08, ill be impressed.   CUTLER for prez
