Now how do all those Cards fans feel about him that were at his 1st game against the Cards as a Cub? They all gave him a standing O!!!!! How great was that?

I'm curious to know how the Cardinals front office feels about yesterday. They're paying Jim Edmonds $2 million this year to do that to them.

Cub or not, I still love to watch Jimmy play.....yesterday hurt, no doubt, but he is still the man and very clutch.  If/when the Cubs go to the post season, he will win a game or 2 at some point for the Cubs....

Even though I laughed yesterday after watching Jim Edmonds hit 2 homeruns, I would still rather have Rick Ankiel for $1 million than pay Jimmy $11 million.

Plus it was worth $2 million to see Carlos Zambrano give up homerun after homerun today.  What happens if we win tomorrow?  We might just go on a run for awhile and then all of the sudden it's October.  And we all know what happens in October.

I think we go on a run as well, starting with 2 of 3 from the Cubs.....

4 with the Marlins coming up, we can put some distance in the WC race by taking 3/4!!

I see the birds at best ending with 94 wins....that should be good enough for the WC and might take the division.

The Marlins are no cake walk.  We'll see how things go.  The Cubs should win 100 games, but it is almost playoff time.  I like the way Chris Carpenter looks and we will get Adam Wainright soon as well.  AW has got to go to the bullpen and we'll be pretty strong.  Oh and I forgot about MVP candidate Ryan Ludwick
