Did anyone read the stltoday.com section by Bernie? He basically thanks the Cardinals fans at yesterdays game for giving Edmonds such a great standing ovation and turning the game into a Cubbies love in. Now, I was not at the game yesterday and have always been a huge fan of Edmonds, he did a lot for baseball in St. Louis, but come on. He does play for the hated Cubs and no one had to boo him but why a huge standing O? The Cards are battling to keep in the wild card if not in 1st place and the Cubs are tough enough without making Busch Stadium a little more cozy for there team. Now, I hope today doe not go the same. He said when he went to Chicago that he wanted them to forget he played for the Cards, so why can't we forget till he retires of is no longer playing for the Cubs? Do the Cards a favor and cheer for them and not the Cubbies. We already have a tough enough time winning at home of recent. Thanks and GO CARDS!!!!
