For the AFC North i predict

1: Steelers, as much as I hate them they are still the team to beat in the division. They had a good offseason too, by boosting their rbs and wrs. The main question for me is if they can replace Faneca.

2: Browns, they also had a good offseason. This year they have to go out and improve on last season. Derek Anderson needs to prove that he wasn't just a 1 year wonder. I think this year they definitely have they potential to do good, i think anything less than the playoffs will be a dissapointment.

3: Bengals, we have been known in recent years as a very one dimensional team. Our defense has been horrible, and last year our running game was awful as well. This offseason we took big steps in improving our defense by drafting rivers and sims and signing odom. Ben Utecht was also a nice pickup and should compliment our passing game along with our rookie receivers. The questions this year for us will be our o-line, rbs, d-fense, and whether chad will come around. I think we have the potential to make the playoffs, but we defintely need to improve.

4: Ravens, their offense is horrible. I dont see any sudden improvement with Flacco. The defense is still good but i think they are aging and won't be nearly enough to carry the team. I see the ravens ending up near the bottom of the league without some drastic improvement.

I agree Pitt's the team to beat. And the Browns will. Cleveland takes over the north this year. Followed by the Steelers. Than Cincy. Than B-more.

GO BROWNS!!!

Ether of your teams get anything close to something that resembles a DEFENSE and then come back talking about playoffs and winning the AFC North.  Browns don't have a cupcake schedule this year and the Bengals just need improvement in a lot of places except QB and WR's.....But hey that's just one guys opinion.

I have two words for all of you posters from other teams; Cam Cameron.

The Ravens play caller, the one that thought a short running play on 3rd or 4th down and long was the best way to get a first down, was fired and a new Head Coach was hired.  A Head Coach the liked to micro manage instead of hiring the right people to make a difference where neccessary. John Harbaugh knew there was no reason to mess with the defence and rehired Rex Ryan as the Defensive Coordinator/Assistant Head Coach to keep some balance of the hierarchy that existed for the vets on the team.

The one area that has needed improvement, even with the offensive guru for the past decade, was the offence.  The new Head Coach hired someone that he had worked with in the past that had a proven track record of making dominate offensive powerhouses, with existing teams while making changes through the draft and free agency.  Cam Cameron, if all you know of him is last years fiasco with the Dolphins in the first year of his time as their Head Coach, he was the Offensive Coordinator responsible for making the Chargers what they are today.

On top of that the Ravens are only one season removed from a 13-3 record when their were very few injuries at every position.  Last years 5-11 record was because of injuries/illnesses to players at most of the key positions.

How would the Browns, Steelers, and Bengals have looked last year without their QB, both starting CB's, LT, TE, and DE? not including other injuries that weren't for significant time last season.

I agree. I watched the Ravens last year implode because of injuries. When they did manage to field a somewhat healthy team (see NE game), they played pretty good. I like their chances this year. I still can't believe that the Browns are any good. We will see if 10-6 was a fluke. Bengals will stink and the Steelers will be the Steelers. I can see the Ravens sneaking up on everybody again....if they stay healthy.
