I AM SICK of the lack of production at  the bottom of the Red Sox lineup. It's like they are a national league team with 3 pitchers batting...... Crisp, Varitek, and Lugo are "gaurenteed outs". I love what Varitek has done here and he remains a top notch strategist, but the guy is barely hitting 200! And Cocco's last swing was a half hearted attempt where he can say he at least struck out swining(knowing he had no shot at making contact). And Lugo, ah yes Lugo......CRAP! MOVE HIM!!!!!!

Atleast they're in first the Yankees need some serious help in the starting rotation we can't seriously make a playoff push when we keep starting guys like ponson i hope this off season they open the wallets and go after either sheets and sabathia or both we have alot of money coming off the books.

you can't get production at every spot in the lineup every team has a week spot or a "garunteed out" in it but the redsox have some nice pieces in elbury and lester i'm completely sold on bucholz though.

Rays are in first, not Red Sox.

totally agree, the Red Sox need to trade Lugo for any decent player.  Tek should break out of his slump, and he plays terrific defense handling all the pitches, so it's fine.  Crisp gets occasional good games, and also plays good defense.  Once big papi comes back it should be fine.  Lugo seriously sucks.  16 errors/19 rbi.

I agree as a Sox fan all 3 gents bring something to the table on defense. However I'm ready for a champ challenge and to get Cora into the lineup.
