How is Brian Wilson and his 4.36 ERA at the All-star game. I know he's saved 24 out of 26 chances, but please come on. They have Lincecum there already, and there is no way Brian Wilson is going to be used in that game anyways.
And i'm not being a homer here, but Johan should have gotten the nod over Brian Wilson. Despite his 7-7 record, which should be much better, he has a sub 3 ERA and is one of the only pitchers in the last 10 years to have 4 losses in a month and a sub 2.5 ERA, along with Ben Sheets. That's a sick stat right there.
