If EVERY program in America wanted you, and would hire you to be its Head Coach, which program would you want to be the Head Coach of?
You Can't Be Biased!!! Unless of course, the program you chose happens to be your alma mater or your HONEST choice.
You have to take into account the Geographic Location, Salary (how much that school can afford to pay you), Recruiting Base, and Sizeable Competition from nearby schools.
The Obvious Pick for me would be USC, powerful prestigious name, little to no competition for recruits, highest salary possible, and LOS ANGELES!!!
But I will go outside the box, and pick Georgia Tech. Atlanta is a very nice place to live very moderate climate, you have access to great talent in recruits i.e Calvin Johnson a couple years back, and GT boasted the 20th best Defense last year. BEAUTIFUL CAMPUS in Downtown ATL, salary will increase with success, and the competition right now isn't that high in the ACC Coastal...VT isn't exponentially better, Miami is comparable, and the only recruting competition comes from Georgia, who gets virtually all of the top talent in the state.
What about Yall?

I have to agree with you. USC is the best place to coach. You have beautiful girls, weather and you would get all the recruits in CA. Also, you would get quite a few 5 stars from all over the country. The place basically recruits itself.

The place basically recruits itself.Exactly. Does Pete Carrol even have to pick up the phone to call somebody? What happens when USC gets turned down? Is it like heresy?
Pete gets to roll with the Movie Stars and watch his team of HS ALL-STARS beat people down for a living...thats the way to live.

if i were a coach..id have to go with wherever made me comfy...schools for the kids..[prolly private anyways]......crime rate ...as being poor most of my life,,money wouldnt matter that much to me..whats a million gona do that 2 wouldnt...preferabley a climate with both seasons--winter and summer..,,dnt matter much bout the spring and fall...i for one would pick arkansas,,where i grew up...so hunt-fish-natural beauty of the state....prolly depends on one;s taste for the surroundings,,it would in my case,,,,

USC, I mean you get these outside school resources to pay top recruits from Florida to come to your school and then you mostly own the West Coast recruiting for players. I mean you probably barely have to work.

My biased choice would be LSU...diehard fans, a lock on much of the in-state talent and access to all the state talent and potential to recruit in Florida, Texas, and Mobile.
Take away my Alma Mater and I would go with UF...great facilities, supportive fans, access to the nation's best talent pool of Florida.
