Why are we as Reds fans talking about trading Bronson when Aaron isn't doing anything good. He gave up 6 runs tonight again. I mean why would we want to trade away one of the best record pitchers this season. Just want to know the reasons behine trading Bronson instead of Aaron.

I don't want to make excuses for Harang, but I believe his forearm stiffness is effecting his pitching more than we know. Time for the 15 day DL and see if he comes back a new pitcher.

I think he just needs some rest too. I blame Dusty for using him in that 18 inning fiasco in San Diego....

here is what would do if i ran the Reds, i would trade every player or release every player and use minor leaguers untill i could lure some good free agents, you would think the reds would have enough money then to lure  some good players to the team thats just me though because obviously this current line up is not working.

I'd say it's based on their track record.  Harang's been the best pitcher on the staff, and in many regards the ONLY pitcher on the staff for the last three or four years.  He's having a bad year.  You don't give up on someone in the middle of his first bad year since the beginning of his career.  I posted it earlier on today's game post; Steve Carlton lost 20 games the year after he won 27 ('72).  Good thing the Phillies didn't give up on him until the mid 80's.

Bronson on the other hand, had a good 1st half of the 1st season he was with the Reds, but has been inconsistent and, at times, downright bad.
