I'm a huge New Mexico fan and I've been forced to watch them from the Northeast. Simply put I bleed Cherry and Silver. I've seen the worst of moments and the best of times including the surprise run this season. If they’re in the NIT or the Big Dance I'll still be howling for my Lobos. The Lobos mean everything to me; my life is put on halt for every Lobos’ game whether is on CSTV or I’m listening to the game on my computer. Let's GO LOBOS!

1969, - I live in San Francisco, 7 yrs old, Disneyland family vacation and I beg my Dad to take me to UCLA. Saturdays were Pac 8 basketball with Dick Enberg and the "Wizard of Westwood". I told my Mom and Dad, this is where I'm going to go for college.

1980 - Accepted to UCLA. Score student season tickets for UCLA basketball through the lottery. None of my friends get tickets so I go to the games by myself.

1984 - See Coach Larry Farmer at SF Airport and have him autograph my arm.

Class of 1985 Alumnus

1995 - NCAA Champs

1996 - Asst. Coach Steve Lavin named head coach. Born in San Francisco like me, went to Riordan High like my Dad. 5 Sweet 16's in 6 seasons.

2001-2007 - Chaperon inner-city kids on summer trips to the campus

2008 - Wish USC well in the NIT

John Wooden is really all I needed to say.

So when do we find out which person is representing which team?

Duke Blue blood runs through my veins. Duke represents a history of tradition and excellence. In the Coach K era, we've been to 10 Final Fours and won 3 National Championships. Last year's graduating year was the first year since the Class of 85' to not see a Duke team reach a Final Four. It's time to get back on track this year and make it 11 Final Fours, 8 Championship games and 4 National Titles. Turn on the steam team. Fight Blue Devils fight!

It's 1980. I'm standing on the Field House floor, shooting around during a practice with the Wisconsin Badger men's team. The adrenaline is pumping...I'm in a zone. The ball is going down with ease --I can't miss. Teammates are looking at me in amazement –as if I don't belong there. I'm hot...so hot!

There's a tug on my arm. I turn to see assistant coach, Bo Ryan, standing there. “You can't be in here, buddy. This is a closed practice,” he says.

I'm lead out the door. it closes behind me. I'm cold...so cold.

I just love Tubby's Minnesota Gophers, but sadly they won't be in this year. :-(

I've been a Kansas Jayhawk fan for all my life.

I've never been in an environment like Lawrence, KS for the Final Four games in 2003! I watched the game in a bar in Lawrence and as soon as they had beaten Marquette to make it to the final game, we went down to campus and yelled and ran around with everyone else. What a great experience!

Not to mention being in Allen Fieldhouse at the end of another victory and hear that chant!

Rock Chalk Baby!!
