Hopefully Pryor goes to OSU because he'll be surrounded by talent for the entire time he's there. Plus Michigan lost all their key players and their new offense tends to lead more QB's to play other positions in the NFL.
I know they always say he is waiting until BBall season is over, but my thinking is that if he left tOSU without committing last month, he isnt going there.
Whenm he was here last month he was just here hanging out with a couple guys that he has become friends with through the recruiting process. That are incoming freshman and have already enrolled at tOSU. Pryor visit was was in October.
tOSU fans confidence has come from just all the signs. 1) He was going to commit to tOSU on national leter of intent signing day untill his fathe talked him into taking other visits. 2) He had a open day enough to make a visit to watch a Buckeye basketball game. Instead why not take that time to visit PSU.
But all in all who knows..Its ok for any one he has on his list to positive that this kid may someday play qb for their favorite team.
To your point as top why he took his time to go watch a basketball game, I had heard that he was in Ohio, that's why he went. He didnt make a special trip to go to a bball game.
Word I hear from sources....people who are pretty close to Pryor's b-ball coach - and that is Pryor has chosen Ohio State and has told his b-ball coach this in confidence....some confidence huh when the coach lets the cat out of the bag to his friends...then coach's friends tell their friends....and everyone is suppose to keep quiet etc. etc. ---- you can choose to believe me or not.
Heck, how do we know young Pryor is getting a Power Trip out of all this PSU talk anyways?
To be quite frankly.....after Pryor's little state b-ball brawl the other day.. OSU can have him and his arrogance...he's got Maurice Clarett the II written all over him. So if you're an OSU fan...I guess that's a good and bad thing..you win another championship and then get a very bad image again.
lets not hate on an 18 year old kid please, no one knows the details of any of his 'problems', and while me may be a clarett, i doubt it seriously...no one has ever been recruited like this kid and to be honest I think he's doing ok with all the pressure.
penn state was on spring break that weekend he went to osu, from what i understand he wants to see the place when school is in session.
Paterno is a legend. Have you ever been to Happy Valley? I have and believe me he is loved there and should be able to leave on his own terms since they are still staying competitive.
ya.. i was talking about "good" teams that run the spread offense.. not off and on teams.. and they still gave up a bunch of points to florida anyway, they just figured out the gator dd.. and i do have a source..
his name is Tim May.. and he talks to pryor all the time through texting and everything, and supposedly the reason pryor has penn state on his list is just because of his dad wanting him to stay home, and thats the only reason.. he won't go there.. you can put your money on it.. He wants to win no finish 6-6 or 7-5..
When was the last time PSU was 6-6 or 7-5? Last I checked they were 9-4 last season, 9-4 the season before and 11-1 two years ago. 2 of the 4 losses last season came because of an inept QB. If Pryor was QB, he would have beaton Illinois and Michigan last season.
McK93 is the only one of you who's right. he's holding off until his hoops season is done - which incidentally just happened. he's supposed to announce his decision in about a week.
