Hotcarl, my point was not that we should attack these other countries, but questioning why we attacked Iraq in the first place. we had just a good, if not better, reasons for going in somewhere else but chose Iraq for some reason....I wonder why?
IMO, we should have stayed in Afghanistan and finished the job there. We had enough international support (including from Iran) where we could have followed Bin Laden through Pakistan to the end of the world if need be, and no one would have said a word. Once we finished off AlQaeda in Afghanistan we could have continued to follow the organization and said to the world we will follow them where ever they pop up for what they did.
Once we did that in Afghansitan and showed how serious we were petty dictators like Sadaam wouldn't dare become a serious issue. Instead we are challenged by everybody from Iran to Venezuella to Russisa and China. They see America doesn't have the attention span to finish something they started and instead went somewhere where it is impossible to get out as victors.
