I agree. Rich Peverley hasn't mastered all the mechanics and chemistry of being on an NHL team yet, but every time I see him, he's hustling. He's currently my second man-crush for the Predators, as I will always hold Scott Nichol as my first.
As for the game (I was relegated to radio), the Predators did exactly what Terry Crisp said they needed to do: take it to the Red Wings -- because if you sit back and wait for the Red Wings to come to you, they'll run roughshod over you. Good effort. And I'm glad that Dan Ellis seems to be emerging as the #1 goalie.
I will also go ahead and admit that the interference call against Brett Lebda on Jordin Tootoo was complete bunk, but I guess this is what commentators mean when they say it all balances out over the course of a season. (I'm still steamed about the "delayed whistle" call many months ago.)
