89OUBobcats, What trouble has Tank Johnson been for us? He dressed for 8 games, but played in 6. I wasnt as impressed that we brought him in, but he hasnt done anything to prove my assumption tright. Not that long ago we said the same thing about TO, but other than a "attepted suicde" everything has been amazing with him.  He played through a hand injury that could have affected his career. Mentoring our young WR's and showing them the ropes will be handy if Steinback is as good as people say???  Pac Man may be our biggest problem IF we get him. Jones has done pretty good keeping Owens and Johnson out of trouble. If PacMan stayed cleaned for the next 5 years, Jones has to get some credit for putting his nuts on the line.

Tank and PacMan are not the top guys at their positions, not even close.

Have you heard nothing about PacMan? The guy has the talent and could easily be a top 10 CB or KR next year.  I for one hope we get him.

I don't see it.  You can't say Tank hasn't been a problem when he has only played in 6 games.  Wait until he gets in trouble with the law again, or violates his probation.  Violating probation is a more likely scenario, again, a chance you take when you get involved with these knuckleheads.  Better to get a guy who's not on probation in the first place, right?  If he is in jail, he can't play football.

  And Pac Man could eventually be a top 10 CB?  Why don't we just go and get one of the top 10 CBs right now instead of taking a chance on this head case?  Jerry never hesitates to spend money.  Get good, quality guys who can play.  PacMan can't stay out of trouble.
