Ha ha!  Just re-reading this thread.  Itsjustme is really quite comical.

Just a tip, when someone insults your language skills, and you respond, it helps your case so much more when your response is spelled properly.

Watch carefully, itsjustme.  "You're an idiot." not  "Your an idiot.".  See to someone like you, I know they look the same, but "you're" is actually short for "you are" whereas "your" is possesive, but I'm sure you already knew that.

Hey guys, I got a new poll.

"Should CBS Sports "for" itsjustme to stop making stupid polls?"

answer right now or "your an idiot".

"This guy is so blind to anything but hate that he actually thinks he's smart"

LOyal Hab,, your a funny ,, and I mean FUNNY little man. I over the course of time in this thread have brought up a couple valid points that nobody has yet been able to prove wrong , not even to a degree of 1 percent.

1) overpaying losers certainly inflates some of the salaries of other players in the nhl... not good for the league, especially the small market teams....

2) the nhl having orginal 6 huge market teams that don't need, want, or care to win is bad for the league.. no explanation will follow since this is self explanatory.

3) the only reason toronto even sells out is simply because of corporate demand.  You should know, maybe I did or didn't tell you this before, but that's not something I just guessed at . I met somebody who spent 20 years working for the leafs between maple leaf gardens and the air canada center. Don't be fooled to think fans would spend or even be able to afford these tickets.

So, instead of working at my key points and at least trying to prove me wrong, you go on a tirade and waste of time speach about how tiger woods affects the game negatively? Let me explain something to you... he's so good, that even if prices quadruple all over the world, it actually makes sense !! Newsflash huh??  oh, and another newsflash.. I can actually buy tickets ahead of time to ALMOST any even tiger woods attends,,,,, your comparisons and analogies are terrible dude..

And you've yet to explain why the NHL hates making money off the Leafs.

Lets start with itsjustme's #1 reason-over paying losers,I guess the Leafs are 'THE ONLY' team to ever do this,so his theory its all Torontos fault, well there have been many players signed to contracts for way more money than the players ability. Many of those teams were small market teams,oh and the Rangers and Flyers.

#2 original 6 huge market teams, can i pick any of the largest 6 markets or do we go with the original 6 hockey teams,or how about the "nhl's original 6 or your 6 teams, any way my point is i do not think teams care to lose, bad for business.

#3 corporate demand,i did not know Toronto was the only city to  have a corporation, umm just to let you know, all teams need that corporate ticket sales. For various reasons, small market teams can not survive with out those sales. Now that us uneducated common folk can't afford to go to all the home games anymore, but thats a whole different post.

and the golf thing,is right on both loyals and its's points, wow maybe you guys are bummbuddies,no,just kidding.i gonna get called an idiot now and 1 star.

but seriously, the Leafs are not gonna fold, they will win again, just like the 1-15 dolphins.

loyal hes gonna call me an idiot now,so i guess you will get a pardon from him,how bout them Habs, they are playing some good...sorry great hockey.

Ha ha.  Don't worry tmleefs, I not only can take a joke, I quite enjoy humour.  It's stupidity that annoys me.  You know, the kind of stupidity that would suggest a financially stable business should be "for" to fold.

whoa itsjustme, i have said i agree with some things you have said, however your 3rd point is not faulted to 1 degree but as many degrees as you can possibly imagine. the leafs would most definitely sell out without their corporate support. no they wouldnt sell out at the same prices as now, but then again no other team does either. the leafs season ticket waiting list is longer than that of any other team and it is difficult to even apply for a spot because it is not likely you will ever get close. toronto has, undeniably, one of the biggest fan bases in the league and we all know wed sell out regardless of corporate support, so please do not insult the loyalty of our fans, that is all i ask. personally i tried to contact the leafs season ticket office and it took a long time to find as they dont even want to put that info on their website. as for your otehr points , yes they are true to a certain extent. as for everyone on here whining about spelling, grow up, this message board is designed for discussion and the basis to what is said, not how it is worded or spelt.

bluedevil,

Thanks  for your post,, really, for once a leaf fan actually spoke intelligently ... drives me nuts that your the only one that says anything that makes sense..

would they sell out at cheaper prices?  ok fine, but not at these crazy prices...

I never said leaf fans are not loyal... they sure are.  Problem is they don't  always see straight,, that is what bothers me

finally, as for the spelling, give me a break.  I'd challenge you fools any day of the week.. I do not proof read anything because i type fast and could care less.... you guys sound so stupid when you ignore a complete post and talk about spelling..

absolutely agreed. i mean we are loyal fans and numbered, but many of us are borught up with the optimism our parents pass on to us and that creates a false sense of having a good team. dont get me wrong this team has the talent to make the playoffs, but guys' salaries and like raycroft, kubina and tucker are completely bringing us down. Darcy Tucker is a perfect example of leaf fans stupidity. he is overrated, whines too much, flops and doesnt get up even when no penalty is called and if he scores 20 goals a year, he scores 5 of them on the doorstep with an open net because he got a nice feed from sundin or kaby on a 5 on 3. the inability to let go of darcy tucker is something bringing this organization to its knees and the fans are too blinded by the fact that they love him. i love the leafs, but i tend to agree with itsjustme on the fact that most of them are uneducated and folloow the media who do nothing but bash and whine themsleves. just one more thought on the ticket prices. if they were to decrease and corporate tickets were trashed, not only would the atmosphere be 392743274963248 times better, but it would also put less money in the leafs pockets, which in turn would teach them a lesson on how to be smart with their money and how they throw it around, which links with itsjustme's point of inflating salaries throughout the nhl.
