Here's the story-
Nick Williams -Likely wants out. Didn't say what would get him to stay. Recruited by Crean.
Tyshawn Taylor -Wants out. Said promoting Buzz Williams, who primarily recruited him, will get him to stay, keeping Williams on staff and hiring a coach he likes might work too. His high school coach is a Basketball Hall of Famer and hasn't stopped nagging the school to release him, despite the AD saying it will take some time.
Chris Otule -Surprised like all the recruits over the situation, still thinking things through. Is 50/50 between coming and asking out. Recruited by Buzz Williams.
Joseph Fulce -Is a Juco player who would start as a sophomore next year. Has followed Buzz Williams by committing to A&M, getting leased from his LOI, then to New Orleans, then got released again, then went to community college, committing to MU to follow Coach Williams once again. By the interview with him, he seems tired of trying to find a school. I would say he's least likely to ask out, though he can elect to just stay in JC for another year.
Trevor Mbakwe -Freshman who is likely to transfer, citing "family concerns" in Minnesota.
If we promote Buzz Williams, we keep at least three, if not all four. Though we go with a coach who went to New Orleans for a year as his only head coaching experience then quit, and we would probably hope to have a proven coach. Otherwise it's up to the AD to release them from their letters if they want out. It works just like transfers though, where they can be released on condition. So don't expect any of these players to end up with Indiana, Wisconsin, or a Big East school.
