I just got finished browsing through the latest Sporting News, while it is chock full of MLB info and that was what caught my eye, it contains an article on Mitch Mustain and his endevours at USC.  It basically also has a recap of the debacle of the dealings on the hill and his feud with Nutt.  Thought you all might want to read it.  I don't know if the article is online or not, but I will try to see.  How is spring practice looking.

Well mustain made his bed. If he really said what they said he said before even going to arkansas that was a stupid way to try and get a good start.

I am not an insider, so anything I might say is just speculation, but it seems that Mitch was jerked around by Houston Nutt.

You can say that DMac and Felix should be used to best advantage, and I would agree, but if you are a throwing quarterback, and you are recruited by a team knowing your skills and the team also hires your HS coach to implement an offense that uses your skills, I would say you have an expectation of how things ought to go. If Mustain had played those games and not been a winner, that'd be one thing, but he did win.

People in Arkansas complained for years that Houston Nutt was a mediocre coach, and after it was shown without a doubt, some people want to shoot the evidence (Mitch's case) that demonstrates Nutt's incompetence rather than accept that Mitch really didn't have much say in it, and could only vote with his feet. Its obvious from reading the article that Mitch would still rather be in Arkansas playing for UofA than in California fighting for a spot at USC.

I wish Mitch luck in his endeavors, and hope that our new coach can take us to a higher level than Nutt did.

I don't care if Mustain is or was the next coming of Joe Montana. The kid is and always will be a cry baby. Whether it is him doing the crying or his mother doing it for him, there will always be some sort of controversy everytime he doesn't get his way. I for one am glad he is at USC and not causing problems here. Good Luck and have a nice life somewhere but here!

Didn't mommy go to Cali with him?

Thats all that I really want to know is that both he and his mother are no longer in the state of Arkansas. They are an accurate demonstration of how to complain when you do not get your way. And as a people of a state we are not like that. There are alot of things that do not go our way because of our smaller population and also our lower income, but whining is not part of the character that we want to instil in our children or our population. So with that I say good ridens.

I am not sure why Mitch Mustain went to USC.  They already have a quarterback in Sanchez that played in several games last year.  Does he think that he is going to be the starting quarterback?  He only has two years of eligibility left.  That is not a lot of time to show what you can do.

If mustain is any good 2 years is plenty of time. I don't think he will make it, he really picked the wrong school.

I don't see why you can get away with warning someone because you think something. If thats all you have to do then maybe some one should do the same to lifetimeboomer.
