It was a combination of both factors- UNC played in a down ACC but were very impressive the last couple games of the season- at Duke, then the conference tournament vs. Va Tech and Clemson. I thought UNC was playing the best entering the tournament and then essentially had 4 home games ont heir way to the final four. However, they played terribly in the first 12 minutes of the game- not because they were overrated, but because Kansas is that good. I thought Kansas was the most balanced team, and I also thought their only weakness was their mental toughness. To me, Kansas's 17-5 over the last 5 minutes was more impressive and showed how mentally tough they really were. Not an indictment of UNC but rather a compliment to how good Kansas is and how well they played. It's gonna be a great final Monday night
