What an idiot this guy is. He says the Pens tanked the last game so they could face his Senators. (at least I think that's what he said, kind of tough to make out with that Speech Impedement). Maybe they did...Maybe Therien thinks the Ottawa series would be good redemption and just what the Pens needed to get their playoff spark.
Instead of saying it matter-of-factly and trying to fire up his guys (the Pens wanted to play us because they think it will be an easy series, etc., etc.) He said it in a way that came across as being mad at the Pens, because he knows that he just lost his chance to play the easier series against the Capitals (a series they could probably win).
This guy is the tool of the century. He tried to pull a Pat Riley, firing the coach and coming back to the bench to get all the glory. His team responded (for like 3 games) and now has a worse winning percentage under him.
Go Cwy Youwself to Sweep Bwyan Muwway. Nobody wants to hear it.

Murray is a tard and always has been! Im glad he said that crap, because it'll just make Crosby play better. Why don't you run Crosby too, that way instead of 3PPG, it'll be closer to 6PPG! HAHAHA Pens in 5 Games easily, If not 4

far be it from me to agree with a Pens fan on anything , but you're absolutely right. Bryan Murray is a punk! Alays has been. I remember when he was the coach of the Caps in the '80's and his teams always tanked in the playoffs despite often having the superior team. It was apinful to watch. That said I think the Pens will take care of them. However as far as the Sens vs this years Caps, the way Ottawa's banged uo and playing, and the way the Caps and Ovechkin and Huet are playing I don't think the Sens would win.

The Sens may not be able to beat the Caps, but they would have a better shot than beating the Pens.
I think given the option any team in the NHL would rather have a Playoff series against the Capitals than against the Penguins.
Bwian Muwwy wanted to draw the Capitals because he thought they had a better shot of advancing vs. the Caps than the Pens, and if they advance they could Alfredson and Fisher back for the second round.
Either way he's one of the biggest Douche Bags in the league. Always crying about something. How would you like to interview that guy face to face, or worse how would you like to be that microphone that he slobbers all over when speaking?

Firstly, birds fly south, I believe you meant to say GOLF LEAFS GOLF. Your joke of a team isn’t even playing anymore, so go chat on the golf message boards, leafs fans don’t belong on these boards after the reg season is over. That being said, Murray does cry a lot, but no more than any other coach (see Lindy Ruff, tortarella or however you spell his name, Maurice, therein every time someone hits Crosby he cries). Murray is doing what he needs to do, that’s take the focus off the team, and put it squarely on his back. Say what you want about him, but his record speaks for itself. He built the Ducks into what they are today (even though burke gets all the credit), and he’s done a pretty good job with Ottawa (goalie situation aside). All he did was state a fact, the Penguins tanked that game unpurpose, no doubt. He didn’t cry about it, he just said that’s what they did. Anyone watching that game could tell, my old peewee team could have beaten them, the way they were playing.

Maybe, but you’re golfing already. The leafs are the biggest joke franchise in the league, i’d be embarrassed to be a fan of that team. The sens have the second longest playoff streak in the league, and the maple laughs haven’t made it in 3 straight seasons, so it’s pretty clear who the joke franchise is. You can laugh you’re a$$ off all you want, cuz the rest of the league is laughing their a$$es off at your team. Enjoy another season of futility next year, and with the way that team looks, probably for another 2 or 3 decades. HAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAAH
