Which of the following is the most amazingly ridiculous Tiger Woods statistic?

1) Since 6/6/99 Tiger Woods has finished in the top 3 in 54% of the 159 PGA tournaments he has competed in.

2) Tiger Woods has won more European Tour sanctioned events (34) than anyone except Seve Ballesteros (49) and Bernard Langer (40). Montgomerie has 31.

3) Tiger Woods' record against individual golfers since August 2007 is 947-6-2 (i.e. at the Masters he beat 92 golfers and lost to 1). This is a 99.3% clip. His only loses in that span are to Mickelson (by 2), Immelman (by 3), Ogilvey (by 2) and Furyk, Goosen and Singh (by 1). Not bad company.

	Tiger Woods is just unbelievably good. As Jack Nicklaus said, "He plays a game with we the rest of us are unfamiliar." (Or something really close to that.) Golf is a game filled with variables. Everyone hits at different times so there's changes in condition of the course, the wind, the sun. It's designed to frustrate anyone who takes up the game and prevent domination because the margin for error is so small. Even so, Tiger has owned the tour like no one else before him. He's just that far ahead of everyone else. So good luck to Tiger on his recovery from arthoscopic surgery. I look forward to seeing him back on course soon.

	I don't hate Woods--he's clearly incredible. I hate the press funneling every story through him. I expect the headline for the Players to read: "Tiger Woods doesn't play in Players' Championship. Tiger is home recuperating from surgery with his beautiful wife and child. Oh, and some other players played and some guy won."

	Woods is so dominant in the sport, and even when he doesn't play his best he finishes 2nd at the Masters that has one of the best fields in any tournament. Once he gets this knee surgery i predict he is going to win the US Open by 2 or more shots because he absolutely dominanates Torrey Pines.

	I agree with the guy who said about hating all the stat dorks out there when it comes to Tiger. I am not a hater but a hater of you stat dorks. Hey Doodlebugger can you answer this question for me. How many times has Tiger come from behind on Sunday to win a tournament and how many times has that been in a major. Well only once has he ever came from behind and it was not in a major. So every time Tiger tees it up on Sunday and he is not in the lead than more times than not he is not going to win. Thats pretty crazy huh doodlebugger? Over 60 wins and all of them when leading on Sunday. Interesting huh? Chew on that one you stat dork

	I liked Tom Kite's comment after Woods won by 12 strokes at the 97 Masters, and Kite came in second at -6. He said "Well, at least I won MY tournament".

	Perhaps Albert1972 doesn't like 'stat dorks', of which I am one, because he can't do stats or math. First, yes Tiger has never come from behind to win a Major. But what's funny is you ignore the fact that is also touted, that typically the leader on Sunday in a Major ends up winning. For example, before Zach Johnson in 2007, it had been 16 years since the winner of the Masters was NOT in the final pairing. So here's your assignment, Albert1972, how many times has a Major been won by someone who was NOT in the lead on Sunday? I'll get you started, 194 individuals have won a Major. Tiger has never done it, and Jack did it 6 times, now you figure out the other 192. While Tiger hasn't done it ever, very few people do it to begin with. That, to me, needs to be brought up for comparison's sake. Second, Tiger has come from behind on Sunday more than once, get your facts straight. In 2007 he did it at least four times, and he already has done it once this year.
