Why not trade Kyle Boller for JP Losman? Both are in the final year of thier contracts. Losman will not resign with the Bills and if they want a backup Boller a 6 y veteran fits the bill. Perhaps give them Boller and a draft pick at most.

Depending on how much Losman whines in the coming weeks, he might be had for 4th or lower pick next year. Trent Edwards will almost certainly be the starter come week one for the Bills, and they could easily find a back up on the FA wire, or later in the draft if need be. If I were the Ravens I'd keep a hold of Boller for the remainder of this season rather than trade him to the Bills, Losman shouldn't be considered a starter anymore than Joey Harrington and David Carr should, he fits as a backup, however, and could provide some tutoring to a young skilled QB about the ways of the Force...er I mean the NFL.

Ark, point very well said.  Both quarterbacks need changes of scenery.  Boller would be the experienced back-up that Buffalo needs, and Losman would come in and be the starter to tutor the rookie and Troy Smith.  I see this as a win win situation for both teams.  As far as McNair goes, he is going out on a little bit of a down note, but he has still had a great career overall.  McNair will probably become some sort of coach or executive in a few years down the road, just to give him some time to get acclimated to that part of football.  Here's to a great idea from a fan that should get done!!!!!!!!!

Why not ask Willis McGahee his opinion on this trade.  McGahee wasnt happy in Buffalo because he hates losing...and who was leading them to all those losses?  Yours truly JP Losman.

I thin Kyle Boller has more upside than Losman.  I thnk Troy Smith has more upside than both, even at 6'0 or however tall he is.

JP Losman is erratic, a whiner and a cocky player. I remember watching his pre draft interviews on  the NFL NEtwork and just not seeing the talent in him either on film nor the charisma of a successful NFL player.  I say the same things about Jason Campbell and Tarvaris Jackson.  I dont think these kida have what it takes to last in the NFL.

Heck..you can even add John Beck to the list.  My fins have a guy who loks like a boy among men..

I couldn't have said it better myself.  In the history of draft day bust QBs (on average) take too long to develop and rarely have success with the team that orignally drafts them, let alone an imeadiate impact.  If the Ravens are able to find a quality QB out there get him and fast.

This is also a league that only has only a handful of actual quality QBs.  Also the intagitable of Presence and Leadership are traits that are not taught from a book they are qualties you earn over time and if you don't have them before you get drafted you don't get them in mini-camp.  Asking players around the league how they feel about other players and finding the mood of the lockerroom can aide in choosing the right guy.

If a player wants to piss and moan and act like a child let hime wear an 8 as the first number of his jersey and be on the recieving end of passes not the one who throws them.

Boller needs to play regularly. He has a great arm - perhaps he throws too hard but he improves despite his lack of playing time.

He showed promise at Cal and he's a smart kid too.

No way, sure hes fast in the pocket but he rushes through his progressions. We already have a skittish QB.

That's pretty much one of the dumber things I've read on this website recently.
