For lack of a better explanation, it sucks that Andruw didn't perform in his contract year. There's no doubt that I miss seeing him in CF (even though I feel Kotsay is doing a good job filling those shoes). Growing up, Andruw was one of my favorite Braves (he was also a constant). While I do miss him, I agree that it was time to part ways...it was just in the best interest of the team (I died a little inside every time a pitcher threw the slider/breaking ball away with 2 strikes last season and he, automatically, swung and missed). Still, I hope Andruw starts to turn it around this season and do well. He will continue to be a player I track.
