What is going to happen when Nebraska fails this time? Osborne might have been one of the greatest coaches ever, but he is not the coach and it takes a special person to coach for any North division in todays BCS conference system. Why would any top 100 recruit play for Nebraska, Kansas, ETC. The Big 12 lives and dies with Texas and Oklahoma winning the National title. They have the facilities right now and the climate will always be in there favor. Will Nebraska settle for 8 or 9 wins a year? Has Pelini coached a defense that could stop a Qb draw yet. Pelini is a good defense Coach, but he has had some great talent to coach and work with at LSU, Oklahoma, and even his first year at Nebraska. When ever you are moving RB's to Linebackers your talent pool is slim and your drawing straws trying to fill gaps and voids. I don't think the CHICKENS will be going away anytime soon. Maybe the RED better get use to finishing 3rd place in the north, behind Kansas and Missouri! Wow that could really happen! And i forgot about Colo. Buffs, its just a matter of time before Hawkins has that program winning an winning alot of games to. Just think if Nebraska would have hired Pelini 5 years ago this might have been a whole different scenario.
