I like this kid alot.  His size is his strong point, although his shooting ability is average at best.  Not so sure why CBS calls him a PG?  He should be pick at the end of the first round.  He would be a steal in the 2nd round.  As a Bama fan, I'm glad he is gone, but as an SEC fan I hope he thrives in the NBA.

6'4" 240?  How about entering the NFL draft this weekend as a TE.

hey bama fan, he's been running the pg spot since his frosh year.

even though he's talented and has an extreme body, he doesn't quite have the smarts and decision-making of a pg, or that good of a reliable jumper.  he might be the streakiest player i've ever seen (amazing play one second, out of control the next).

i love him to death, but he needs to work on some things before riding the pine in the NBA for a year.

why settle for being a late first-rounder when u could come back to school and be a lotto pick?  that would just be more motivation, for me anyway

He is obviously juat testing the draft waters just to get his name out there if he's smart. If he stays in the draft he's a possible 2nd rounder to likely not being drafted at all. he has no jump shot and he's not athletic enough to overcome the fact that he doesn't have a jump shot. so he will be back again if he's smart.

Go into the NBA Draft for what?  To either be undrafted or be drafted get cut from the team, and end up playing in the D-League.  Or it could be worse he could end up an alcholic and playing in Europe.  This kid needs to prove himself by taking his team to the final four to be anything in the NBA.  The NBA is becoming flooded with middle talent and overpopulated with Aged Veterns (Robert Horry etc..)  There needs to be a complete overhaul for Jamont to get a chance as a rookie.
