looks like pacman shouldn't have delayed filing for his re-instatement until after he got traded to the Cowboys because goodell might have let him back, but after this, who knows if he will ever get back to the nfl

HUH?? What does being extorted have to do with being able to play in the NFL? Do you even know what that word means? Really??

He got extorted. Pac-Man was the victim. That must be real hard for you to swallow, huh.

I know what it means, I was just saying that its not good for him to have his name in the media attention again, whether he was a victim or not, sometimes no publicity is better than good publicity, thats all I was trying to say, and you can say he was a victim but if he had nothing to hide, why did he pay up??

get a sense of time. this isn't a "new" occurrence, it happened before Pacman was suspend ed.  If he has to go back and magically change things that happened before the suspension, that suggests that Goodell never gave him a chance. Of course, that's probably the case...

and you can say he was a victim but if he had nothing to hide, why did he pay up?? Did you actually read the story?  Not only was his life threatened by this guy but so were the live's of his daughter and mother.  If someone is brazen enough to shoot 3 people at a crowded club what makes you think he wouldn't come after you and your family?

This is what I know so far:  pacman gets kicked out of a strip club; he meets briefly with an individual who then shoots the people responsible for kicking him out, this person then contacts Pacman asking for money due.  Is it so hard to believe that during the meeting between Edwards and Jones, Pacman told him it would be worth his while to do harm to them?  This whole thing stinks.  Sounds more like payoff money than extortion.

What's the alternative?  Edwards and Jones meet briefly, discuss the weather and then out of the blue Edwards decides to go shoot some bouncers?  Then, Edwards gets the bright idea to tell Pacman he will shoot his wife and kids if he doesn't pay $15,000?  I'm not buying it.

A pay-off for what? Many eye witnesses say he wasn't the shooter. None of those eye witnesses were doing him any favors either. Saying how he "made it rain" and bounced a strippers head off the stage. Anyone who comes with this pay-off stuff please back it up with a pay-off for what?

If that's the case then why did he go to police and pick Edwards out of a line-up? Try that logic thing again
