I like the fact the we got a tall WR but I wish they would have gotten a good pass rusher before a TE and another WR.  I know we will need weapons for the WC offense but gee gripes!  Draft a pass rushing D-Lineman for crying out loud!  They have gone and let the success of last year's 8th ranked defense go to their heads.

I kind of felt they were going to take Devin after trading down. He will work well in Zorns WCO

Arizona picked up Calais Campbell

Ok heres my theory #1 love the trade

Obviously we dont need a TE and definitly dont need all of those WR.  I would assume that a trade is in the making between Bengals, Lions, or Cards, Possibly  a WR and TE for one of those premier guys.  Hopefully were not doing all of this for Roy Williams, Id rather take my chances on some of the rooks than him.

Also I hope that if there is a trade in the making that we get more than one receiver.

What about our D-fense?  Corners, and ends.

Its still early but the skins are definitly up to something

I like the fact that we got malcom kelly also even though it wasn't necessary. Jason Campbell  will finally have the type of weapons he's never had. I've been a big campbell and I believe he is our qb. I don't get the Fred Davis thing unless Zorn is planning to use a lot of 2 tightend plays. I just think we had other areas of need. We still need a DE or CB. A guard/tackle wouldn't be bad either.

I really likedCalais Campbell and we could've developed him and the thing about the draft pick of Fred Davis that I find funny is if you go to his player profile the NFL player that he compares to is Chris Cooley!

The trade was great. Getting Devin Thomas was a steal.

But passing over Calais Campbell at #48 for Fred Davis?? And then grabbing a third receiver??

I could deal with Thomas/Campbell/Kelly but Thomas/Davis/Kelly seems like big time overkill. Somebody needs to tell Zorn that Defense matters too.

Okay, I can live with Thomas as the first selection.  He's a good receiver.

But I think trading down was stupid considering all the needs we have, and seeing those potential need-fillers disappear before we get another pick makes me sick.

And then we prove our drafting prowess by taking a TE and WR with the next two picks, with an aging front on both sides of the ball.  Pure genius.

I have no faith any longer.  They gotta show it.

Here's the deal. whats done is done. If Campbell is our guy, he has no excuses now. We shouldve taken Calais Campbell, but we didnt. We have several picks tomorrow to add depth. I like Chris Wilson at DE and think he has some potential. The O line is old but quite capable and just needs depth for now. I for one am glad we are finally building from the draft.

Hail to the Redskins!

I am happy with any and all picks made by the Redskins.  As Redskin fans we need to be glad that we have picks to use.  Since 2000 the Redskins have had fewer draft picks than any other team.  That is crazy.  As for the WR's, I think Danny Boy is stocking up so he can try to make a trade for Johnson, Boldin or Williams.  Anyone else feel this way?

I had read that the Redskins didn't like Calais Campbell. I think they are looking to package a trade. It seems that they were drafting the best available player from their board. The Fred Davis pick was concerning at first, but I think another pass catching threat at TE is a part of the WCO and will prove to be devastating for defenders. Malcolm Kelly was crazy. We had already gotten Devin Thomas.

I honestly think they are going to package a trade for maybe a veteran corner or another defender. This is a big mystery.
