all in all you cant be dissapointed we have the top receiving corps maybe in the nfc east. we got a versatile lineman who can play left tackle or guard and we have Stephon Heyer for right tackle. Devin Thomas looks like a game changer and with santanas speed im expecting alot of easy catches for ARE kelly cooley and davis. we did need more help in the secondary and with the two corners picked up i think they can play nickel and eventually move into more packages towards the end of the season we dont want to rush rogers back in when he was just coming on. davis isnt that bad since he can replace sellers in two years sellers is 36.

we did need a pass rusher and we got rob jackson i dont know much about him so i wont comment on him but atleast we got something. Chris lofton looks like our safety of the future i read and watched videos on him and he ran and destroyed the middle of the feild for ucla much like our middle would have been (rip st21<3) he needs some grooming but he looks solid.

I think one of the best moves was Durant Brooks the punter who broke almost every kicking record and the first punter taken. last year we had frost who would often kick it off the side of the foot and would be lucky to average 39 yards. brooks averages 45. this feild position will make a huge difference

finally we got colt brennan who would have been top five last year and many shyed away because of the hip surgery. he looks like the qb who can learn this scheme and replace collins in two years. he ran a wco or close to it since he threw 387 yards a game.

we did have a solid draft i give it a A--B+ in that category, i felt we should of got one linebacker but we have blades washington was mostly healthy and we got flecher so i think we could be safe next year with Chris Wilson and Alex Buzbee coming up.

my thoughts and yours?

Overall I'm pretty pleased with our picks but I would have liked it better if we had gotten a beast of a pass rusher in the 2nd round instead of a TE or a 2nd WR.  I think the Skin's coaches/FO got a little complacent after our defense finished 8th last year and that might hurt us with our aging D-Line.  I also need to do more research on Jackson before I can comment but who knows, maybe he'll turn out to be an asset to the team.

Colt Brennan is a crap shoot.  He isn't very tall and has a side arm release that more than likely will not work in the NFL.  It will be interesting to see if Zorn can change his mechanics while maintaining his throwing accuracy.

The punter choice surprised me a bit at first but Durant Brooks should replace Frost(who often irritated me the last couple of years) and be a solid asset to our team for many years.  It's not a bad pick at all.

The WRs should allow us to spread defenses thin on every down and open up the run game for CP and Betts.  No more stacking the box against us.

Although I don't know much about them yet, the CB and the Safety should provide us with depth in an area that we were lacking in last year after the ST21 tragedy and Carlos Rogers injury.

The O-Lineman Rinehart should provide us with depth because he supposedly can play guard or tackle.  We all know how valuable O-line depth was last year.

My overall grade = B

HTTR!

We definately did a reload at receiver. All 3 second rounders look like solid targets. So our WCO should be  fun to watch. But we paid the price on Defense.

I hope Chad Rinehart works out on the O-Line. I read both good and not-so-good ratings on him across the web.

The Defense sure got the short hairs this weekend. I would have felt better about a DE such as Groves in the 2nd. He has strong upside. Also, the late round DB's are hard to get excited about. You need studs in the secondary and the sixth & seventh rounds is not the pace to find them.

I like the Punter pick.

Overall, I'd give this draft a B minus. It started out as an A+ after the first pick. I was hoping for more mid-round quality. I didn't lke the late round trading down. I would have kept the early 4th round spot and gone for a quality Defensive player. You can still get quality at the 103 spot. After that your picking projects. Do we have one more Free Agent signing up our sleeves to shore up the Defense??

Now that the draft is over,I feel pretty good I guess. I'll still take our top 3 draft choices even though we could have went Flowers,Campbell, then Sweed/Kelley. I feel better about our season and honestly think we can make the playoffs with ease now. I think i'm going to like Tyron Justin, just because he is a character, but I think he was a good pick. Rob Jackson can be our 3rd down pass rusher. I'm fine with the punter. Kareem Moore can be our playmaker since he also player WR in college and the Colt Brennan pick made alot of sense since what he ran in Hawaii is similiar to the WCO. Rinehart was probably our best pick and my favorite pick is our last pick,Horton. Hopefully he pans out to be a stud and eventually start. Alot of good undrafted free agents that I think we can use. Overall i'm motivated to see oor offense now and see who starts along side LaRon Landry. Now its countdown to the Hall of Fame Game and this is in about 3 months and i'm looking foward to seeing who makes the final roster cut.

i think we can get one more player like a june 1st cut since we traded down we dont have to pay anyone a first round paycheck so we traded down and go tthe same people for less price really smart drafting.

the one thing that pissed me off was nbcsports winners and losers had us listed as losers in one analysts eyes we picked everything we needed and the receivers will help progress campbells work and im sure him and Malcolm Kelly will be out early on the feild getting throws in like last summer and it was said mkelly and soup were getting along great during there first meeting.

division here we come

At least were getting Jason Campbell some big targets out there. I have a friend thats a Titans fan and all he wanted to see was them picking up WR's in the draft to help Vince Young , but nothing til the 4th. So overall I'm happy to see the Skins look to have a better passing game and support our QB's. Still think we need to make an offseason trade for a good passrusher though.

I was reading on other threads that everyone wanted us to pick MD Henderson after selecting the first three on the O side. He didn't get drafted i heard on Comcast, he could be someone that we should invite to camp and pick him up.

I think we have made our team better, however just like everyone else....wish we could of pulled off some more D help. Maybe we can pick someone up on trade or the front office can figure how to get some help on D before the season.

I would say a pretty solid draft for us....B+ or A-!

I think we should definatly take a look at Henderson. I was a little surprised that he didn't get drafted. I love our last pick though, so I wouldn't say we passed up on him (not that anyone is saying that).
