I know that this is not particularly sports related though, for some people beer drinking is a sport in and of itself.  I thought that this topic would be something  almost everyone, who has ever drank beer, either at a ball game or durring their "poor" college days can identify with.  Here are my top 10 worst beers that I have every drank.

  1. No Brand Beer - the label actually said "No Brand"
  2. Old German - Brewed in Pennsylvania
  3. Golden Anniversary
  4. Shlitz
  5. Shaffer
  6. Keystone Light
  7. Pabt's Blue Ribbon
  8. Utica Club
  9. Genesee Cream Ale
  10. Black Label

What are your worst beers ever consummed?

For me the worst I've ever had at a game, or at a restaurant.

1. Foster's

2. Keystone

3. Bud Ice

4. Tecate

5. Dos Equis

Those are all I could think of that I have tried.

Genesee Cream Ale! Let me defend that beer. It tastes awful, but it's meant for college kids to be able to buy lots of it really cheap! Would you rather have a six packs of Bud, or 48 Genesee Cream Ale's for a party?

Slight exaggeration, but you get the idea! It's a decent taste, considering the cost.

1. Generic beer, label said "Beer"

2. I think it was called Blatz. Something like $4 a case and it tasted it. (I was young and needed to save money so I cut corners on what I drank, big mistake)

3. Fosters

When I was in college, we would each buy a six pack of something good and the follow it up with the cheapest crap we could get.  We figured by the time we had downed the first six, taste wouldn't matter anymore.

but it's meant for college kids to be able to buy lots of it really cheap!Same goes for keystone. Stones aren't the greatest beer in the world, but it's hella cheap and works great for playing beirut. In fact, I'm pretty sure Chico consumes one of the highest volumes of keystone and keystone light in the country.

Now, if you want some great beer to drink, I recommend the following two:
  • Great White (made by Lost Coast Brewery)
  • Sierra Nevada (made right here in Chico

Haha! Great point! They do say beer only tastes good after you're drunk!

My party experience is a little different though. Firstly, I'm still in college, finishing up Junior year right now. Usually, when I'm at a party, only a few people are willing to chip in money, and you know, you have to take care of your girlfriend and what not, so with limited money, and not wanting to share good beers that we buy for ourself with our cheap fellow students, we'd just buy a lot of cheap beer!

The difference is, if we win a championship or something (especially our guys softball league), we drink the expensive stuff, and some champagne!
