Being a Tigers Fan in NY was never better than yesterday.  FInishing off the sweep in the Bronx which hadn't been done by the tigers since 1966.  And it also feels good knowing that we were undefeated in Yankee stadium in its final year of existence.  Congrats to all the Tigers who smoked the Yankees the last 3 days and hopefully we can do it again in Comerica next week.  I enjoy that we caught the Yankees at the right time this year without A-Rod and Jorge.  I also liked not seeing Rivera he should be well rested for their next series.

It was a really fun series to go into Yankee Stadium and totally dominate the Yankee pitching like that.  How many runs did the Tigers score, it was hard to keep track.  Even with giving the Yankees a few runs to begin each game the Tigers kept pounding away at Yankee pitching for their first 3-game sweep of the season.

Taking down the Yankees in front of the NY media was fun and gave the Tigers some cred
but now its on to Minnesota, a tough place to play.

I dont know what to make of you patsfan who lives in NY and is a Tigers fan?  How exactly does that work? I was wondering the same thing myself.  I'm a Tigers fan living in NY but was born and raised in NW Ohio and I'm definitely not a Patsfan.  It would be easier than rooting for the Lions though.

i can tell you what is weirder than that.  being a spartans fan and a michigan wolverines fan.  My parents grew up in michigan actually my whole family grew up in michigan and they both went to MSU but i am a fair weathered fan in NCAA because it sucks rooting for a team that sucks because nobody talks about them and they cant just easily turn it around like a pro team can.  I follow MSU and U of M in everything but I follow MSU in bball more and U of M in football because its easier to. Yes it is fairly weird and impossible but i am a Wolverines and a Spartan fan
