If he denies having an affair,  then why is he apologizing?   He's looking more and more like an idiot everytime he opens his mouth.

In a related story citing "unnamed sources," Roger Clemens has hired Ohio Attorney General Marc Dann as his new lead council.

I cannot confirm or deny this story but I do apologize to my family for my past mistakes.

Clemens just does not know when to shup up. Can you honestly believe anything he says anymore and Rusty Hardin talks about the pummeling he is taking. She was 15!! The old saying goes "he who stinks in church sits in own pew."

Clemens needs a new lawyer and new advice. There is no doubt in my mind now that he used steroids knowing. Cheats on his wife, throws her under the bus as a roid user. Is there anyway more that Clemens can come off as more classless?

Go join Mark McGwire and Barry Bonds on the sidelines.

Now he' apologizing for contributing to the dilenquency of a minor. Another sad day for Rodger, what does he tell his family, do they believe him ? Once a lock for hall of fame, now being talked about like gutter trash. What a shame.

What the heck do you know about MLB players and their cheating habits??  To say that 90% of them do it seems a bit ridiculous.  Just how many coaches and players do you know, and why would that even come up?  Im sure some of them do, but that statement is just stupid.  Clemens is a jack*** he needs to shut his mouth and just disappear

I also would like to apologize for my mistakes.  I won't tell you what I did that I am apologizing for, but NO 15-yr olds or steroids.....the rest of the stuff, we'll just lump into one category, and I'm sorry for that........

Man!  I feel so much better!     Thanks, guys!

When are people ever going to realize that it's not really what you do that makes people hate you ... it's how you respond to getting caught.  Like him or hate him, Kobe responded swiftly and smartly to his troubles from several years ago.  Roger chose to challenge someone who apparently has a lot of dirt on him and now Roger is paying.

Of course, playing "Batter Up" with a 15-year old girl is unacceptable.

Someone took a pummelling, but it doesn't sound like it was Roger.

He needs to apologize for being born. I've always hated him since he left Boston and he's not done one thing since to change my opinion. I hope his kids all fail miserably as ballplayers because that's about the only positive thing he will ever have in his life after all this and I don't think he'll even get that. Hey Rock-ette......I hear O.J. needs a golfing buddy!!!!

Hope to see you in the Finals Beevillain! It will be Field of Dreams type stuff....like we've been dipped in magical waters!

He didn't see the need to apologize until he caught.  Until then, I guess he wasn't sorry.  So in other words, he isn't sorry for his actions.  He is sorry he got caught.  And speaking of sorry, don't feel sorry for his wife.  She is going to go to those Congressional hearings and support him while she knows full well that he is lying about the steroids and the HGH?  She takes them herself, from his trainer, and doesn't acknowledge that she knows he is taking them?  Karma may have found a permanent home at the Clemens' household.
