First it was Kenton Keith getting arrested.
Then there were numerous reports of the Colts pumping fake crowd noise in the RCA Dome.
Now Marvin Harrison shot some guy in the back at his bar and hid the gun at his own car wash. Not a good idea.
Maybe its time to make a head coaching change.???

Jonathan999 - speaking from the viewpoint of a longtime diehard New England Patriots fan, I think you need to have a little perspective here.
First, the crowd noise reports are completely irrelevent in this discussion. It has nothing to do with breaking the law, and has yet to be substantiated, so let's just let that go.
Second, a head coaching change is not needed in Indianapolis. Tony Dungy is a good coach, and a good man, and has done nothing whatsoever to be treated with that sort of disrespect. Besides, he will be leaving after this next season.
I for one have always viewed Marvin Harrison as a class act, a good man and an excellent receiver. I would hate to learn that he is not those things, and hope that the reports are inaccurate.

Have you even read anything to do with this story?
1. It has not been proven Marvin shot anyone.
2. The guy was shot in the hand, and suffered minor damage.
3. The gun has not been proven to be his, apparently this gun seems to be a popular brand as well.

wow, complete fabrication and blaming the head coach. You are a certified idiot, for the sake of the country I hope you're not voting in the election since it's obvious simple heresy is enough to woo your extremely fragile mind.

Guys, guys, guys! Jonathan is just tweaking our noses. He knows he's full of crap, but if we don't respond he'll use the old debate rule that says failure to respond acknowledges the validity of the point. Since he's all into cheap points and not real logic, he'll keep doing this as long as TD coaches in Indy.
Look at the threads J has always started relating to the Colts: his real problem isn't with Colts, Colts fans or Bill Polian--it's with Dungy being universally acclaimed as a fine Christian man, and with anyone who believes he is. Jonathan likes to imply that TD is a hypocrite because somewhere in the Indianapolis organization, some people have done or might have done some things--like trespass--that J can say are wrong.
Relax, Jonathan. It's a good thing there are some fine Christians still in the world, else the world would forget what Christianity is all about. And if you think that's a good idea, what religion would you like us to replace it with? If yours isn't better, respect the one that works.

First it was Kenton Keith getting arrested.
Hes a backup that has only been in the league for one year, who cares
Then there were numerous reports of the Colts pumping fake crowd noise in the RCA Dome.
Thats was found to be because it was a dome, and therefore, it echos, every dome does it
Now Marvin Harrison shot some guy in the back at his bar and hid the gun at his own car wash. Not a good idea.
Hes not even guilty of anything, I really doubt after a 11 year clean career, he really risked it on shooting someone, but if her did
It was on his hand, big deal, whos to say the man wasnt trying to steal from the bar?
Maybe its time to make a head coaching change.???
After winning the Super Bowl two years ago, yeah, good idea

I'm trying to understand how this suddenly becomes more cloudy, the day the report came out it was known and relayed that the gun was owned by Marvin Harrison and that the ballistics were an exact match on 7 different bullets. And that it's a custom made gun registered to Harrison and that Harrison is known to own 25 guns.
I don't care who the shooter was, or relate any of this story to the Colts organization and trying to find some faults there. But the fact is and it was clearly stated by many media figures that Philadelphia law states " that any gun involved in a crime the owner of that gun is punishible"....Just slap the misdemeanor charge on Harrison and get this over wtih.
I'm a Patriots fans and I despise the colts with a passion, but this has nothing to do with their organization and frankly, I was absolutely shocked to hear a story like this involving Harrison. Maybe my respect for him has dimished a little, but in my mind he is still a classy guy that has some wierd gun obsession, and until we know exactly what happened and the chain of events that lead to this incident I'm willing to give Harrison the benefit of the doubt due to his all business, classy attitude over the course of his career.

I think Marvins crime spree might more then just this simple shooting. I think Peyton Manning might be involved. Arlen Spector should look into this.

Actually, it has been proven to be his. The ballistics tests matched the weapon to the shell casings.....oops.

Sorry - you are incorrect. The weapon that was found at the carwash WAS the weapon that fired the bullets found at the scene. However, NO information has been released YET as to whether that is Marvin Harrison 's weapon. That particular weapon has sold thousands of untis since it's inception and is one of the most popular handguns in the country at this time. Custom, in the weapons trade, means it has had options installed that are not "stock". A different set of handgrips constitutes a custom weapon. Virtually every single one of these handguns is a custom because it is primarily marketed as a match grade weapon. Please do not spread false information.

I don't think Polain needs to get his house in order, it's the entire NFL. What's with these guys, making millions of dollars and pissin it all away with stupid actions. How many time are we going to hear about a football player getting involved in bad situations?
Why is it the other major sports don't have the frequency of lawlessness that is displayed by NFL players? They are either the target of some crime or they are committing the crime. Guess making millions is got them bored and they believe they are above the law. Time for the NFL to throw some of these guys out for good, like pacman jones as a start.
