Funny, Dodd indicates that the Big Ten is so soft and that the SEC is so difficult and deep. Is that why the Big Ten and SEC are 9-9 against each other in bowl games over the last 5 years? I'll give the SEC their due on beating OSU the last 2 years for the title, but not on overall depth being that superior. If the SEC is so deep, why did Michigan beat Florida despite turning the ball over 4 times? And why has a "second-rate" Big Ten team like Wisconsin gone 2-1 the last 3 years against SEC in their bowl games?
I fully expect the ire of the SEC fans on this one, but I get tired of hearing how bad the Big Ten is, how every other major conference is so much better, blah, blah, blah.

The Big Ten should be considered the Big Ten worst football teams in the country. Ohio State #1, Ohio State #1, Horse Crap! Who cares if they are returning all those starters, they didn't help the last two years. Ohio State plays nobody and i dare jim Tressel to schedule 4 SEC teams as his non-conference games and see how it goes. Put em' up against Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, Auburn, or Bama and see what happens. Ha...I wipe my butt with Ohio State's year in and year out panty waste schedule.

What a moron. Those "Ten Worst" still have a 9-9 record in bowl games with the SEC over the last 5 years. Yet you still see that as superiority somehow.
Go back to the still, Jeb, you need another shot of moonshine.

I'm not going to make excuses, not too many anyway. The healthy Michigan team that played the Gators in the Capital one bowl was simply a better team than the Gators last year. It was a close game, and its not like your Defense was stopping our O all the time but the Gator defense was absolutely horrible last year and thats why Michigan won. Obviously teams are going to vary from year to year on their strength. Michigan was able to exploit a defense that really hadn't been able to stop anyone all year, I think we were near the bottom in SEC pass defense. You can point to a 9-9 record and say that means the conferences are even, but everyone still knows that when you are SEC champ, that means you are a very strong team. Big ten champ just means you beat up on a bunch of patsies and either Ohio St. or Michigan.

Haha, "ohio states crappy schedule year in and year out" what ignorance. For the last 11 years LSU for example has only had a tougher RPI than OHio STate one time... That one time was last year. I wish you could find an SEC school that for the past 10 years can compete with OSU's schedule... But then again im sure youd rather stay ignorant to the fact.

#6 Florida : The only questions are the defense and how to keep Tim Tebow upright and healthy. Forget about winning another Heisman, Tebow has to become more of a pocket passer. Tailback Emmanuel Moody had some problems picking up the spread in the spring.

Wow, what has this idiot been smoking? Tim Tebow needs to become more of a pocket passer? I haven't heard anything that stupid in a long long time. And any tailback is better than what the Gators had last year. No, the Gators will have the best offense in the SEC next year, possibly the nation, and the defense will be improved.

OSU, due to your inferior schedule you will probably make it to yet another BS national championship game, but it looks like you may very well have 3 SEC losses in 3 years and 2 of those to the mighty Gators. And if the Big Ten thought they were so much better than everyone else, why didn't they step up and prove it when they got the chance to? It looks like they've once again avoided reality up in yankee lah-lah land now that no playoff system will be in place.

As far as the Gators loss last year to mighty Michigan. Don't 'kid' yourselves Wolverine fans, the Gators D was young and dumb and plauged with injuries, but now that you've lost your star qb, lineman, and wide reciever; you bet your sorry @sses that you'll be in for a rough rough year. Forget the SEC, what about the SC? That reminds me, is App. State on the schedule this year? Snicker, snicker.

Wow. What ignorace. Who has OSU played worth mentioning in the past 10 years? They wouldn't be ranked in the the top 10 with an SEC schedule.

How about Texas in 2005 & 2006?
