Your team being swept should be enough to earn respect. Like i said be classy and accept that which has already happened, be a true fan and look forward to next year.

I can't pick a team I like in the playoffs because my team is not in it. Minnesota is my number one team but doe's that mean I can't cheer for The Wings who I have alot of respect for ? I also like the fans. You Wing fans have alot of class and you have a great team...

not everyone that likes hockey was born in the 70's like you geezers. i got into hockey growing up in south dakota, but i was born in colorado. same year, avs came to colorado. i cheered from a distance until i moved back. there's my "allegience" backround Dolphfr.

This jerk Avs fan is right on this one. I would never root for the Avs because I hate them. He is entitled to show no class because he is an Avs fan and he is just doing what comes naturally. Keep the hate going, Avs fan! Hate you right back, and winning the Stanley Cup will be that much sweeter because the Wings swept the Avs along the way!
