Don't know yet, pack. Maybe one of them drive-thru type of deals? Somewhere I can get me a freakin' root beer to go along with the nuptials. Like a combo meal.
Well, if I was you (and me), I'd keep it simple. Is this for you or for the family?
I didn't want to get married - well, I didn't want to be engaged, to be specific. So when I finally agreed to get married - 30 days in advance, as it is minimum required by law in Hungary - we had to schedule right away - get tickets for parents to fly over. We just reserved a wedding hall, suplied our own music and got a photographer and flowers from the catalog. The hardest part was the dress and the ring - we couldn't get a ring sized in time in Hungary (took 6 weeks) so we had to go to Vienna. Which was fine, because his parents came and we wanted to take them there anyway.
We didn't have time to send invitaions - we just called people.
Oh, and the dress was totally awesome - I got compliments on it everywhere. It came from a Paris runway - it was a rental - that is how you do it over there - but it cost more to rent than an average dress you buy. So it was good
Oh, and the reception consisted of me reserving a table for the closest wedding party - closest family, witnesses - 17 people - at our favorite restaurant, and ordering from the menu. My boss stopping by and inviting us to tea for her house was a bonus. She had a LARGE house. My aunt brought a cake.
Oh and it was the funniest wedding ever - at least that is what I was told by many participants....
It was totally awesome.
