Obviously what the Wizards have isnt working, they got the crap kicked out of them 3 years in a row by the same team, my Cleveland Cavaliers. This team does nothing but create drama with Gilbert's blog and DeShawns idiotic comments. Dump Jamison and Arenas and rebuild, that my opinion.

The past 3 years the Wizards have been a good to pretty good team. In the 2006 season every game was the Cavs won was by 1 pt. and there were a bunch of bad calls. in 2007 and 2008 the team wasn't whole because of injuries. Caron Butler Antawn Jamison and Gilbert Arenas are a great big three, when they are all healthy they were getting about 70 PPG together. they just need everyone to stay healthy and have Nick Young break out as a 6th man.

The Zards have no inside game, that's their only problem.  If we keep rebuilding, we'll never have the cohesiveness like the Pistons enjoy.  If we get a decent bigman and keep our core group, your Cavs don't stand a chance for 4 in a row!

Gilberts got a problem, they can't afford both of them, so I would assume "he's gone"... Wizards got a cheap owner (Abe Pollen, I got one foot in the grave) , he won't give out the big Bucks since he got fleesed by Juan (I got all the money and no game) Howard......  They can't afford all of the big three.....  one will go.....  Arenas...

Anyone who thinks you can just go out and pickup a potential 30 point a game player,

needs to get a grip. Gill will be back Antwon and Caron all will be back. But need help in the middle, someone just willing to block shots, grab rebounds and intimidate the heck out of people coming to the hoop. NO LAYUPSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!! To many this year

and as mentioned in a seperate thread a defensive stopper from free agency or the draft

Dump Jamison? LOL.  He's a 20/10 player with a great attitude and work ethic.  And now that he's a free agent you're gonna hear a big "kaching" in his bank account with his next contract.   Don't forget that Caron Butler was also out injured for part of the season too.   Jamison is a tough match up because he's faster than 4's and bigger than 3's.

Brendan Haywood is a decent center not great but solid.  And I assume they'll get Etan Thomas back next season to help in the middle.  So the bigger question at center is can Brendan and Etan get along as teammates.

It will be awfully expensive for the Wizards to sign both Jamison and Arenas and I'm not sure they'll be willing to stay with the status quo after getting knocked out by Cleveland 3 years in a row.

Typical idiot Cavs fan.  You've beaten a Wizards team minus its best player two years in a row and with its 2nd best player playing hurt.  The series in 2006 was determined by 3 one-point games that the Cavs won on last second shots....it could have easily have been the Wizards in 2006.  Cavs have on great player (LeBron) and one very good one (Z).  The rest of the team is a bunch of either old players past their prime (Szerbiak, Wallace, Smith, Snow, etc.) and a few unproven ones like Gibson, West, and Verajao.  Without LeBron, the Cavs are looking at ping pong balls in the lottery.  Your team, if you want to call it that, was exposed by the Celtics and will be bounced in 5 games.  Over the luxury tax and a bunch of long-term contracts for old players, the Cavs have little to offer anyone after their stupid trade of Hughes and Gooden, who were 2 of your top 4 players.

The Wiz was pretty decent this year w/o Arenas weren't they.  Jamison is gunna want a big payday but the Wiz will sign him.  Really with Arenas in his final year, trade him!  He won't be back after next year anyways no matter what Jamison does!  He's gunna want a huge payday too and you can't afford both of them.  Trade him for a high draft pick and mid-level player.
