Lebron is a superstar who is thrown in our face every single day with all of his commercials, and people referring to him as a "savior" and the next great player.  Paul Pierce and Ray Allen are stars but not superstars.  They do get a free pass because they won.  I dont agree with it but thats the way it is.  Dont get me wrong, I have heard a few people dogging them on some sportradio stations, but certainly no where near as much as "King James".  The Celtics have three stars to where they can pick each other up when one or two struggle, and garnett did just that.  The cavs dont have that luxury and if james does not play well they dont win.  Best part for the cavs is that lebron wont allow another game like that to take place as he has stated, but on the other hand im sure pierce and allen will play better as well.

big z and Daniel Gibson did a heck of a job pick lebron up...Lebron just let them Down...Big Z played a heck of a game, Big always shows up in the playoffs for cleveland...lebron just let them down missing those two easy layups....a 7 footer hits a clutch jumper(KG) and and a 6 foot 8 250 pounder missed a layup...that isnt good at all, nor is it excuseable

well kg actually drove on the possesion and got a little hook type shot from 3-4 feet... but yes Lebron could have dunked that.  I agree though Chris i think the Cavs supporting cast did a great job of picking Lebron up... wally hit a couple big shots, Pavlovich had 7 points in the 4th, boobie hit a few threes... and big Z had 22... so in all actuallity I think the Cavs supporting guys played decent... could have shot better but hit timely shots and gave Lebron a chance to win the game in the 4th... cant ask for much more than that IMO

Both teams played strong defense, if PP or RA had performed, their scores combined would offset LBJ,having his usual scoreing night. I believe Bostons bench is stronger then Clevelands, could be one key, to Celts taking the series.Of course home court adv. and  Celtics determination to prove, to all fans their legit, as favorite to win the NBA title.

i am a fan of lebron, but i am not a fan of all the excuses that he gets,.....his cavalier team is much better than advertised, they play very good defense and get lots of second chance oppurtunities for lebron, they take and make the big shots that he himself will not. Big Z always plays well in the playoffs for the cavs, and boobie gibson always comes up with that big 3....this squad does not suck at all, if they sucked so much then they would not be where they are right now....The problem with this team is LEBRON touching the ball too much, he should NOT be the facilitator, its not a coincidence that every decent player that is paired with LeBron has a siginifcant dip in production and once they leave their production goes up(Drew Gooden, Larry Hughes). The Cavs need to incoorperate more ball movement and screening in their offense, allow their point guard to set up plays allow Big Z to makes plays from the post the instead of just givig it to LeBron  as they pass halfcourt......its hard for players to be productive when they're in a system such as the Cavaliers' where they just catch and shoot all game. Delonte West can play, but with the way the cavs play he has no freedom to make plays, noone outside of Lebron Has freedon, freedom to make plays is part of the reason the Lakers are so successful, Kobe doesnt touch the ball on every play,l and the ball movement is always their and guys get to actually be apart of the play without just catching and shooting.   ...people that actually understand how team success works should agree

I agree... if the Cavs had the triangle offense that phil jackson runs... not only would he be better because he would get the ball in a better postion to score, but everyone would be better... as I have said before, MIKE BROWN may be the wors coach in basketball... I should say worst offensive mind in the NBA

You have to remember, this entire series, as far as the media is concerned...is the big three vs. the big one. So if 2/3 of the big three don't score, they still get 28 from KG. If Lebron doesn't score, they lose, end of story. He didn't score so he gets hammered.

Basically it comes down to the Cavs best chance to steal one in Boston, because Im not betting on Pierce and Allen combining for 2-18 again either. So we all expect LJ to come out and score Thursday, but it will be against all 3 of the Big Three, not just KG again.

The other side of this, I don't expect a crazy scoring game from LJ if they defend him the same way again. Granted, he missed a couple simple layups, but if you look at his shot chart, he was shooting mostly jumpers because Boston kept closing the lanes on him so he couldnt drive. He'll almost certainly shoot better in game 2, but i expect him to get around 25 tops.

I'm going with Mighty Mouse on this one.  If Cleveland pulls that game out then pierce and allen would be taking a beating right now.
