while paul is great, he doesnt garner nearly as much attention defensively as does lebron and doesnt have as tough a time as lebron putting up points......you can't compare a PG to an SG or an SF.....chris paul mostly gets 1 on 1 because of the passing threat he is as a PG, Lebron doesnt have that luxury........Chris Paul should be compared to a player at his Position like Deron Williams(whom is the better of the 2 IMO).....Deron Williams does everything that Paul Does with a better shooters touch and better passing in the halfcourt game, Most people would say paul is better because he plays for the media darling Hornets and gets all the hype, but watching them both as much as i do, deron williams is the better PG

Bob Bob are u suggesting that CP3 made west....you sir are an idiot.......the Hornets have a very good team, Chris Paul aint doing it by himself ad David West is a flat out stud......why is it that everyone likes to make it seem as though their teams best player MAKES everyone else on the team.....David worked hard to be as good as he is and he is very good at creating his own shot, ,,,Like i said, CP3 isnt doing anything that Deron Williams isnt doing, its just that Paul plays for a media darling in the NO hornets and gets more hype

I think it is hard to compare the two. Paul is 6 feet tall. Lebron is 6-9 and growing. One is a guard and the other is a shooting forward. I think in my opinion(which dosnt really matter) LeBron is a better scorer, while Paul makes the team better. They filled New Orleans with good players and he makes them a little bit better, while if lebron dosnt score, cleveland loses

Kobe and shaq won 3 titles...pippen and jordan won 6 and now pierce allen and garnett are all on the same team and they won 66 games, have homecourt throughout the playoffs and are vying for a championship.
Not every superstar is as whiny as kobe, mello and AI seem to be doing fine also.

LeBron James is a more dominant player due to his size. Chris Paul is the best PG i've seen since Stockton. Both are great players and hard to judge since they do different things on the court.

Chris Paul is the best PG and Lebron is the best SF in the game right now. I'm not big on comparing players of different positions, but if I had to say who the more dominating player is and who will be higher on the all time greats list when there careers are over, assuming they remain on this path, I'd have to say Lebron.
Although I would take Chris Paul's mentality over Lebron's any day of the week. In the words of Adande, "Chris Paul is mean." He's one of the most fierce competitors I've ever seen.
