The NFC is pretty hard to predict, but I am going to say someone in the NFC East is going to the Super Bowl. The AFC is likely going to be the Colts, Patriots, or maybe Jags. I'll say the Giants and the Colts.

Dallas vs. Tennessee is my homer pick.

Dallas vs. Indianapolis is my real pick.

Who do you think. My guess is the team with the best QB, and the best coach and we all no who that is You cannot fight history, the losers of the SB does not go back the year later.  That defense took significant hits, losing 2 of their top three corners.  That defense is aging, a year older, a year slower, without its top young playmaker.  And if you think that offense is going to score almost 600 points again, you are a homer.  They will score around 400 points(still a lot), but that defense is worse across the board.  They will go 11-5 and edge out the Bills by 1 or 2 games.

And it took Elway 15 years to win in the SB.  The Cowboys need to prove that they can win ONE GAME in the playoffs before I pick them to go anywhere past the first round.  They lost to a team they beat twice last season, something is up in Romo's head.  Elway did not have a competent passing game until later in his career, Romo has 3 or 4 viable targets, plus a great pass rushing defense, they have all the tools they need to go all the way, and yet they cannot even win one game.  Something is up in Dallas.

"you cannot fight history" hahahaha are you kidding me?  Thats why records were broken last year.   Because the Patriots fought history. People said nobody would break this record... it was broken.  People said nobody would ever go 16-0.  It happened.  But now, since some dude on a message board said the Patriots cant make it to the Super Bowl because history wont let them, well yeah, now they have no shot in hell.

They didnt take too many hits on defense guy.  Look for them to have the #1 offense and top 8 defense next season.  Look at the guys on the defense.  Yeah some are old, but they also have young guys too.  I'll worry about age next year.

"They lost to a team they beat twice last season, something is up in Romo's head. "

Yeah, the Patriots also beat the Giants in the regular season. It is hard to beat a team capable of winning the Super Bowl 3 times in a row. Even though, Dallas came very close. Are you serious?? Do you think your team could beat them 3 straight?

As stated in an earlier post, its all about Aaron Rogers for the Packers.  If the way he played Dallas wasn't a fluke, the Packers will go far, if it was or he gets injured, the words Packers and playoffs will not be used together.  Then I have to go with Giants, Dallas, or maybe even the Vikes (if they get a better passing attack and pass deffense) from the NFC.  I'd say Colts, Pats, or Steelers may represent the AFC.

Possible SB Matchups

New England vs Dallas

New England vs NY Giants

Sandiego vs Dallas

Sandiego vs NY Giants

** Sandiego is probally the only team i see right now to knock off New England... I know the Colts are a fav. to  beat the pats ( since they've done it before )  but last year they lost to the pats and Chargers and i think the Bolts possibly ready for an upset ....

Patriots and Seattle.

Everyone wants to scrutinize the loss of Asante Samuel and Randall Gay.  Yes, they will be missed.  But IMHO I think the Patriots are giong to be better this year than last year.   They still have the offensive firepower to score 40+ games.  Not many teams in the league can go point for point with them and that already puts them at a disadvantage.  And I think their defense is going to be far better than last year.  Not from an individual talent standpoint, but with speed, athleticism and pressure and a totally new look and philosophy.  Tell me how opposing offenses are going to know how, Jared Mayo, Shawn Crable, Fernando Bryant, Lewis Sanders<
