d'antoni to be named head coach

I am not sure about this. We do not have his type of players. He's an offensive minded coach. Run and gun.We need a strong hard nosed defensive coach. Just my .02

Phoenix had a excellent team and he couldnt come through...

Hes a horrible coach that really doesnt know how to opperate a team. He was our offensive coach before becoming our Head Coach. Thats all he is, hes a OFFENSIVE coach. He cant spell D.

He doesnt know anything about players and when their hot and not. Amare would be 10-10 from the floor lighting it up in 8-10mins and he would TAKE HIM OUT!!!!!

Then he would leave in Barbosa for 10mins straight while he watches him go 0-9 or worse. He doesnt know how to call time outs at the right time. he doesnt know what the word MOMENTUM means!!! he seeing when were getting KILLED and just lets out players play.

He leaves players in way too long in the wrong times while letting players sit for way too long while the game slips away!

Bottom line hes a joke for a head coach. He will make Isiah Thomas look like a God. And thats hard to do! Ya'll should know that.

Good luck with him. How about you take Steve Kerr off our hands too??? Although hes not as bad as Dantoni.

What an idiotic statement. Sure, he has his flaws just like every other coach in the NBA but his record was 261-149 since taking over in 03-04. And if the NBA doesn't suspend Amare & Diaw (which we all know was BS), they win the title & you're not saying a word about D'Antoni.

Your just a Knicks fan so you dont want to beleive it. I hated Dantoni for along time not just since we got kicked out. Most Suns fans hate him.

You dont get to watch the Suns like we do. So stop talking.

And as for his record. i have never coached before. But i bet i could coach the Suns too a 50+ win Season.

The Suns are Loaded(although are starting to lose a little of it to age) but they have been LOADED none the less. Maybe the NBAs most loaded team. What he did wasnt anything special.

The Knicks will struggle next year and you all will see Dantoni ran out of NY so fast..
