Kobe is overated. If it wasn't for all the special treatment the refs give him in L.A, This series would be over. Is it not so obvious how in L.A the Lakers shout way more free throws? Everytime he goes to the basket he either gets the bucket and one, or a free throw. If the refs would allow people to play defense on him the way he plays D on others, He would not be MVP Chris Paul would.

It's a fact they shot more free throws in L.A. It's a fact that they did not reach that next level until Gasol got there. Which is retarded because Kobe said Shaq wasn't the reason they were good it was him. It's a fact that players are not alowed to play him hard or they will get a foul, but watch how he will bump them and reach in with no call. It is also a fact that Kobe wanted to be traded at the begining of the year, because he thought the team was no good. All facts dude no opinions.

Can we get an MVP recount. Kobe isn't even the MVP of the Lakers - Derek Fisher is!! He is the heart and soul of that team. When he is out of the game, the Lakers suck. When he's in the game, he is a huge threat for them.
I think that the MVP should be who meant the most for their team NBA wide. Kobe didn't. Regardless of this year, he is still a cancer. I would never want him in the locker room of any team other than the Lakers (they can keep him and his trouble). Manu Ginobili (as much as I hate to say it) is more qualified to be MVP than Kobe ever was. Without him the Spurs probably would have not made the playoffs.
Something to think about. Too bad Fisher is on the enemy's team. The dude is an absolute stud; I know some people question his motives, but at the end of the day it's a business like it or not. Maybe he did, maybe he didn't use his daughter as an excuse to get back to the team he loves (either way doesn't matter to me). I wish him the best and wish for many years of great health to his family.
Here's hoping that game 5 lives up to what 1-4 have already been. This has been classic.

You're just another a-hole opportunist who won't be saying anything after LA wins the series. All Utah did was hold serve, but they can't win a road game.
You probably think oxygen is overrated, too.

You're an a-hole who can't face facts, because the Lakers havn't won a road game in this series either. I know you're gonna say they did in the Denver series, but thats the diference between playing the 8th seed as opposed to the 5th seed.

swampton,
Your right that is the the difference between a 8th seed and a 5th seed. The good news is the Lakers being the1 seed means they get the deciding game at home. If they need it.

The haters really come out of the woodwork when Kobe has a bad game. Well I guess you guys really needed to get all that pent up hate out after 7 straight solid games in the playoffs for KB24. I realize that 13 for 33 isn't a good shooting night but 10 assists and 8 rebounds ain't half bad. Superstars will struggle offensively from time to time but they generally step up their game in other areas. I would say 10 and 8 is stepping up in other areas.

Is it not so obvious how in L.A the Lakers shout way more free throws?
And today, IN UTAH, the Jazz shot 20 more FTs than the Lakers. This has been happening for years in the NBA...what is your point? Both teams have held court...that is all. Game 5 will be crucial just like it always is in a series like this.

"It's a fact they shot more free throws in L.A."
Yep, that's a fact, but this wasn't in your first post.
"If it wasn't for all the special treatment the refs give him in L.A, "
This is NOT a fact, and this was in your first post that I commented on.
"It's a fact that they did not reach that next level until Gasol got there."
This SEMI-FACT is debatable, as the Lakers have reached the playoffs without Gasol, just not the second round. They were like 35-16 before Gasol got there, so they may have made it anyway. This is what makes it a semi-fact, because it is based partly on speculation.
"Which is retarded because Kobe said Shaq wasn't the reason they were good it was him."
That, my friend is an outright lie.
