until they advance past my Jazz in the playoffs I will continue to talk smack......Hey man, I'm cool with that as long as you have the balls and temerity to come back on this board come Friday night when your Jazz are finally eliminated to say, "I guess I was wrong - the better team won, good luck the rest of the way."

No problem, happy to.

Oh, and one more thing, when the Lakers win I'd like you to not only admit your mistake, but to also be so kind as to also insert a picture (which you seem to be so good at) of a Black Mamba (Dendroaspis polylepis) into your post.  Thanks.

Didn't get to watch tonight's game guys. Is it fair to say Kobe tried to do too much tonight? He could have made the game a lot easier on himself, especially with his back injury

How did Gasol play tonight? Did he disappear at all? Statistically, looks great, but that doesn't always tell the whole story

Is Odom guarding Okur on the perimeter or Gasol? From what I've seen, he has been the dagger the last two games with his long ball. The Lakers need to have that checked out

Wow really dissapointed with this game I only saw the fourth quarter and OT but here are just my general thoughts.

This game had classic written all over it unfortunately the Lakers where not able to pull it off. Once they forced OT after being behind by so much I thought for sure we are going to pull it off and what a classic game this will be.

Which gets me to my point thank you Derek Fisher and Lamar Odom because they all but single handily got us to OT!!!!!!!!! And dangit I would like to go back and watch the game since I taped it but after the outcome you just feel down.

In the OT I just don't get what they where doing. So Kobe hurt his back when was this? I just don't get why the ball was constantly in Kobe's hands and why he was always the one taking the shot what happened to passing. Was anyone else even trying to get open though I have to wonder. What was the game plan in the fourth I feel like Phil Jackson had a terrible plan for the fourth. We should of been getting it to Fisher and Odom as much as possible and stayed with the hot hands.

Just seems like this game was a great one that could of been a classic had the Lakers pulled it off really dissapointing and what sucks the most is we have to wait until Wednesday for the next game!!!!!!!! I'm getting really nervous we are no lock to win this series anymore and that scares me.

Niggs,

Game 4 key headlines:

- Kobe tries valiantly to play through back spasms
- Defensive rotation on Okur on the perimeter is decidedly lacking - too many open looks
- Farmar in the midst of a "deer caught in headlights" act, Fisher must avoid foul trouble

Lakers will make the requisite adjustments, fear not.  Lakers in 6.

Some thoughts after watching today's game:

Seems like a formula for beating the Lakers is get Fisher in foul trouble early, and then run circles around your garbage backup PG.

Jazz bench beat the hell out of the Laker bench.  The bench scored something like 22 straight points for Utah while Boozer, Williams, and Okur relaxed.

That block on Walton by Ronnie Price.  HOLY SH!T

Typical Laker fans on this board crying about the officiating.  Because there is no way in Hell the Lakers could lose just by being outplayed.

No crying here scorchednuts - the Lakers got a lot closer to stealing a couple of road wins in SLC than the Jazz ever could in LA.  Enjoy this little ride of respect while you can because this series will be over by week's end - and I mean Friday night.
