	That is a bunch of BS!! You only believe that because you are a Kobe hater and anything anyone says to trash Bryant will get your jaded, uninformed and undivided attention. This article was horrible. He started the damn thing off by comparing a legend to some guy who thinks he better than he is but is actually very dispensable to his team. There is no comparison between Chad and Kobe. You only like this article because it is yet another shameless attack on Kobe Bryant. This article doesn't hold any water or substance what so ever. For someone to say "finally an article worth reading" and give praise for such a crap article is just plain stupidity fueled by homerism and bind biased. This article is so crappy that it has turned one Patriot fan on the other.

	JBank he's not a Patriots fan look a little closer at his display picture, and there is no way you should defend Kobe Bryant cause that is BS, last summer he did the exact same thing Johnson is doing right now. He's a hell of a player but will always be a selfish whiner.

	I didnt realize he wasnt a Pats fan until I saw his avitar closer. But about this chad Johnson thing. The two situations are very different. Kobe was promised the Lakers would build a championship caliber team around him. That never happened until Kobe forced their hands. Chad wants to be traded because he feels like he is the scapegoat for the Bengals failures. Kobe wanted to be traded because the Lakers had no interest in winning now based on the lack of moves that were being made. In fact it was revealed the Lakers were "looking to minimize costs and do what was best for the time in terms of long term by starting over with young talent". That doesn't sound like a team trying to win now as they promised Kobe. He was furious about that. On top of that Chad Johson doesn't realize how dispensable he is. He is a good football player but no where near hall of fame type. Kobe is one of the top 5 players to ever play the game. PERIOD. No matter how much you dislike Kobe, that is fact. Comparing the two is like comparing apples and oranges.

	i don't care how good Kobe is thats not the point and Johnson may not be the best in the league but he is certainly pro bowl worthy when he decides to play. Kobe Bryant does have a me first attitude yeah i get the whole wanting to win now thing but to act like a little kid about it and pretty much throw a temper tantrum, that is ridiculous. He should not have publicly called out the organization and slammed them like he did i don't care if he wanted out he should have been professional about it. This is the same guy who said he would rather play on Pluto at this point and the same guy who pretty much said Mitch Kupchak doesn't know how to do his job by saying they should bring back Jerry West to fix the situation, does that sound very reasonable to you? No he is an immature whiner.

	mistakes were made on both sides eightzero. I don't condone Kobe embarrassing the Lakers like that, but I dont condone the Lakers being deceptive of their intentions and what they told Kobe either. If Kobe didn't light a fire under the Lakers would they have made the Gasol trade? If they don't make the Gasol trade are they title contenders? Even in a bad situation positive things came out of it and both parties have apologized and reconcilled. Also, you all get on Kobe but this situation isn't that abnormal and happens all the time. Michael Jordan called out the Bulls and his teammates many times before they started winning titles, Shaq embarrassed not Mitch K, but Dr. Buss in a preseason game in Hawaii. It is only as blown up as it is because it was Kobe.

I simply agree that Chad Johnson is treated far worse by the general media than Kobe Bryant. Most of Mike Freeman's articles are horrible. This is actually one of his better arguements. If Chad Johnson were so dispensable, I think the Bengals would gladly part ways with him and get some sort of value for him. Regardless of your personal views, there are many franchises that would love a receiver like him. Again, I don't care about the NBA or Kobe Bryant. The Patriots are my favorite team, but by no means am I a New England fan.
