I've been swamped with finals work so I wasn't able to see the game, who on the Lakers got a flagrant 2 and what is the scenario?

Ronny Turiaf did - verrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrry questionable. It may have been a flagrant, but to call that a flagrant 2 was suspect. Price who is a small guy, was dricing to the rim and ran into Ronny, who is a big guy. Certainly a hard foul - awfully suspect to call that a flagrant 2.

how was that questionable?

he threw the guy down to the ground and he had to get four sitches in his forehead. Turiaf is nothing but a hatchet man and the Lakers are going to lose the series in 7 games.............KobeMe will choke and the lakers have nobody else to help them win a game.

It was should have just been a flagrant 1. It was a hard foul but Turriaf was trying to make a play on the ball.

It was clean hard foul. I go up hard and come down hard, just ask Derron Williams and the 3 blocks I have against him. If you look at the replay you can see that I went for the ball.

Its not my fault im a big guy and he's a small pg. There are no easy baskets when I'm in the game

I'll start out by saying I like Turiaf and I do not think he had any ill intent to hurt Price.  However, many seem to forget that a flagrant foul is not accessed by intent.  A flagrant one is granted with contact to the head area.  A flagrant two is accessed if the contact was excessive.  I believe the answer is yes on both counts.  He clearly made contact on the body and it was excessive.  Thus, the flagrant two; which I believe was the accurate call.

I do not feel he will be suspended or should be suspended.  Turiaf does not have a history of flagrants and there was no signs of intent to injure Price.  He stopped a layup with a hard foul in a decisive game within the playoffs.

clevelandgirl.....the stitches were because he hit his head against the ground not Turiaf, and it hsould have only been a Flagrant 1.

Haha, Cleveland girl, you're mocking a Redskin? You're in Cleveland where you got nothing going for you bro. Lebroom is the only one that may have a chance but if I was you, I would s*&(&(up. The Browns are not the Patriots either. Next time I will ask the Utah guy to bring his mom into the court to defend him just like your boy Lebroom.

Of course this did not warrant a Flagrant 2. He did not use excessive force and he absolutely made a play on the ball. I have seem worse fouls that that. All it was was a hard foul. It was not Turiaf's fault the way Price fell. So if Price were to go up and make the bucket and get th efoul people would be yelling at him to make sure he doesn't get the and 1. That is sometimes what hapens when a smaller guard drives in hard, and unfortunately his hands got caught up to where he could brace his fall, but in my mind no way was that a flagrant 2

It was a regular hard playoff foul. I don't even think it was a flagrant 1. Take a look yourself.

   Humm, let's see.

How many championships do the Cavs have? 0

How many championships do the Browns have? 0

How many championships do the Indians have? 1 I think, maybe 0.

You don't even have a hockey or a soccer team.

The Washington Wizards have 0 titles but the Washington Bullets have 1.

The Washington Redskins have 1 superbowl title.

Baseball just returned to the Nation's capitol 2 or 3 years ago.

They have an average hockey team.

They have the DC united in soccer which is the team with the most MLS cups by far.

So, next time you bragg abour your sports do some reasearch moron!
